We could go to their qb rating since les left but I'm sure you'd find a way to discredit that too.

You forgot they don't practice as hard
under Coach Baw... They sound softer than a roll of Charmin.

Doubt that matters. Bama doesn't stack the box.

For the most part it depends on if the new argument is as shitty as the first

I firmly believe Les was totally incapable and unwilling to listen to his staff on offensive play-calling.

Fans often over simplify coaches and their motivations.

There was an article written in the local paper about a month ago that described Miles' philosophy. Basically he taught his players that if they simply executed the plays as drawn up, they would be successful. It's not hard-headed as much as disciplined perfectionism. It's kind of a, "You can do anything you put your mind to" philosophy.

That said, while it generally worked against lesser talented teams, you need some sort of angle when going up against teams with equal or better talent. I like the philosophy, I think it is a good one for building young men. But it's limited when it comes to winning national championships.

I would love to have Coach Miles coaching my son at any level of competition.

Uber talented as always, but also always underperforming.

This.

It was basically a "do what we do" mentality. If "doing what we do" got shut down, the offense had no chance.

Now Bama has to defend the entire field, not just the LOS and deep sideline.

Now Bama has to worry about ALL of our offensive weapons, not just LF7 and two WRs.

Now Bama has to worry about us throwing on ANY down, not just 3rd and long.

Now Bama has to worry about the TE position beating them.

Now Bama has to worry about our QB taking whatever they give him.

Just a few reasons that come to mind.

I wouldnt go anywhere near saying I'm confident, but im a tad bit more optimistic without Miles. That's because the passing game has opened up a bit more. I'm not absolutely terrified of passing down and distance. And honestly these guys are playing with some passion that we haven't seen in awhile.

What is it about Bama fans that think they are unbeatable?

Nobody has said LSU is the best team. Us thinking that is your delusion, not ours.

Alabama is not unbeatable(another Bama delusion). Bama Has only gone undefeated once since Saban took over.

LSU's d has only allowed 8 tds this year. Thats better than anyone else to this point.
