It’s Christians engaging in the act of baptism. The guy in the center is dedicating his life to Jesus Christ. The baptism is both a symbolic and spiritual gesture to “cleanse” him of his sins.

Nothing wrong with being baptized in your religion but having your HC do it is kind of weird.
You can still be a good Christian and understand why this is grandstanding on a whole other level.

I too am a Christian, but when I mentor a young person or do charity work, I don’t have my picture taken while doing it.
