What if Auburn has a terrible losing football season in 2013?

Could Malzahn be fired after one year? If Auburn's defense declines and they don't have the players to run Malzahn's offense it might get bad. Do any Auburn fans see a #1 SEC offense coming out of Auburn this year?

No. Top 4 though.

And you still suck at starting threads.

Malzahn will most likely be hanged on the poisoned remains of the Toomer's Oaks. Mark Emmert will give Auburn the death penalty simply to put us out of our misery.

All that said, it will still be a better season than what LSU will have.

He was only gone for one season.

Orly? You don't even know who the QB is going to be and that D is turrible.

ETA: NM -- didn't know about this unknown.

Nick Marshall is in no way Cam. And does no one see the trend of UGA thug rejects going to play somewhere else and sucking?

They'll start paying players again and sign three or four top five classes.

We also didn't know who the QB was going to be in 2009, 2010, or 2011 so...

unpossible for that defense to decline any further to the cellar than last season. Not happening.

All of their offensive players are guys that run the Gus Bus.

I'm not an AU fan, but the history of Gus says he will have a top 5 offense.

You should have grabbed Jacoby Brisset from UF, who is now headed to NC State.

This implies that you think we have recently done this and stopped.

Care to elaborate?

Don't fall into the same trap y'all did last year when people were predicting 9-3. UGA, Bama, and A&M will certainly have better offenses. I'd be willing to bet someone else who actually knows who there QB will be (OM, USCe, LSU, MSU) will slide into that 4th spot. And all will probably finish ahead of AU.

We already have enough "project" quarterbacks.
