You should have grabbed Jacoby Brisset from UF, who is now headed to NC State.

For Malzahn's offense? Brissett is a decent athlete, but he is not a running QB.

20 ints at the JUCO level. SEC DBs are going to love this guy.

Could Malzahn be fired after one year?
He could be, but he won't be.

If Auburn's defense declines
lol, explain how that might happen.

they don't have the players to run Malzahn's offense
This doesn't make much sense to me. The same players that run most other offenses work just as well in Malzahn's offense. The only exception possibly being that Malzahn can open up his entire playbook with a good dual threat QB.

Do any Auburn fans see a #1 SEC offense coming out of Auburn this year?
That would be shocking. I expect somewhere around #7, but could be substantially better if one of our QB options develops into a legit SEC QB.

I'm anticipating between 5-7 wins. I doubt it gets worse than 5 regardless of what happens with QB and defensive development. However, if we find a solution at QB and have some marked improvement on D, it might even be better than 7 wins.

I wouldnt be shocked if they stink it up again next season, but there is no way they can Malzahn after one year.

They'll start paying players again

We never stopped paying them. We just had to pay them less and be low key. Now that the NCAA is gone we are about to crank that shite back up!

So only Kristi Malzahn is and everyone else who quotes her isn't, right?

D is turrible

Has nothing to do with offense

Turrible D = constantly having to drive long fields + most of the game playing from 2+ touchdowns from behind = excessive pressure on the offense.
