This is unprecedented and I'm not sure what happens next.

Do they get to re-enter the draft?

Does the NFL blackball them?

Are they tied to their previous teams?

I certainly can't wait for the very rational and level-headed discussion to follow.

But in all seriousness, this is what the NFL wants. They can give these guys feedback then have them go back to get tuned up more before taking a roster spot.

They likely will be able to just join the NFL as a free agent after.

Yup. Oates unfortunately opened Pandora’s box on this one letting Bediako play.

We can thank Ole Miss and Trinidad Chambliss, a sixth-year senior who returned for the 2026 season for starting all this mess.

I highly doubt this is the way that the No Fun League reacts.

Just like how Saban left LSU for the NFL?

Players want money, and if Lane doesnt win quickly it will dry up and he will be gone.

I understand LSU fans are excited, but this can go south quickly. Maybe Lane is the chosen one, but he couldn't even make it to Atlanta at Ole Miss. Id pause.

Show me one player that actually made a roster on an NFL team that wants to go back to LSU.

If they've been drafted, they're already in the NFL.

Seems to me like they could join an NFL roster at any point during the season.

That's interesting and a good point. That brings up other questions but nobody has these answers. Thanks for an honest reply.
