I would think the Manning Brothers have done pretty good after their football career.

And his sons own the Browns, 20% of the Bucks, an MLS franchise, a truck stop empire, former governor of Tennessee, donated millions to his alma-mater. A real family dynasty.

Certainly not successful to anyone but bama zealots but who can forget the infamous and shameful list of Bama's most "passionate" alumni/fans such as: Harvey Updyke, Connor Bruce Croll, Michelle Pritchett, Adrian Laroza Briskey, Shorty Price, John Phillips and Brian Downing Jermaine Burton, Darwin Holt and Tommy Lewis et al... Very embarrassing list to be sure like no other school in America. Victims of too much bama.

Charlie Trippi. Not only was he successful, but he played 8 years in the NFL and lived to be 99 with no loss of cognitive functions. That in itself is a minor miracle.

Steadman Shealy became an attorney and has practiced for years. I don’t know his income or net worth but I’m fairly certain his firm in Dothan does multi-millions in business every year.

I was at the beach about 30 years ago - I think Grayton Beach before Seaside and all that blew up on 30A - and he and his family set up right next to us. We’re not that far apart in age. I recognized him and had a brief talk with him. Nice guy. Had a lot of kids if I remember correctly.

Woodie, you seem to have a problem with the Tide.
Jealousy is one of the 7 deadly sins. You may need to talk to your pastor. I and many more on the rant would hate to see you die and go to hell.

Alabama's Johnny Mack Brown:

"Johnny Mack Brown soared from All-American football player at the University of Alabama to star of numerous western films.

Brown had a sensational career as a halfback for the Crimson Tide and reached his peak as a senior in the 1926 Rose Bowl game when he caught touchdown passes of 61 and 30 yards as Alabama defeated Washington 20-19.

One of the football player's first films, “Slide, Kelly, Slide” (1927), was about baseball. He went on to act opposite silent films stars such as Mary Pickford and Greta Garbo and then made a smooth transition to talking pictures.

He made the western epic “Billy the Kid” for MGM and later, for Universal, a series of westerns including “Range Justice,” “Western Renegades,” “West of El Dorado” and “Law of the Range.”

He, Roy Rogers and Tom Mix "owned" Hollywood back then.
Oh yeah. He on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
