I don't think so. They gave up 11 sacks to Clemson.
SC was probably the 8th or 9th best team that Clemson played this year. SC played a cupcake schedule.
SC could barely score on Tenn, a terrible defense.

Clemson won 4 in a row against Auburn.
Clemson only scored 14 because coaches went conservative on offense after getting the lead and seeing AUburn's offense struggling so bad.
Keep in mind Clemson's star RB ETN probably didn't get many snaps if any in the Auburn game.

It was glorious. One of the best melts of all time. Followed by the 2012 Sheldon screen pass after an entire offseason of LSU vengeance promises. That was the two best years in the sec rant I can recall.

irrelevant, teams rarely played and anything during the segregation era has a * next to it because teams couldn't recruit a lot of good athletes.
plus as i've pointed out many times, Clemson was a small military college like the Citadel much of its existence. That underscores how bad SC has been as a program given Clemson has dominated the series rivalry. lol
I'm all for SC and every other SEC team beating Alabama. Everybody is tired of Alabama winning natties.

The 1992 football season, specifically the time between the SEC CG and the Sugar Bowl.
All of the haters and "the U" trolls would have been out in full force before disappearing in an instant after the Sugar Bowl. The tears following that beat down would have been soooo sweet. The UM boards would have been world-class melt material.
