Its maybe tasteless at best, but I can't help thinking the same thing. Its a tragedy for sure, but you cant really pin that on the loss.

This. You can say what you want, but 3/4th of those players have never even met that coach other than showing up during a basketball game halftime show to help draw a crowd or maybe passing in the hallways in the athletic dept building.
