meh the nations opinion on CGC only matters if he is looking for a job. what matters is the fans perception (and by that I mean the fans of AU). what everyone else thinks is irrelevant.

Actually win a game with coaching instead of just having hired the best player in college football history for a season as a hired gun.

Let him coach a few more years then we have a better body of work to look at besides one undefeated season. We all seen how good he was at ISU without bought players.

Right, well we shall see how well he does in a world without Cam Newton. Remember y'all's SEC record in his first year was 3-5. You'll be 3-5 again without Newton, and you'll be even worse off in a world without Malzahn. It's not like Tubbs wasn't a good coach. The general consensus is that he didn't do anything to deserve the job, that he's Bobby Lowder's puppet.
