I would also be a little more impressed if he could win without going down to the wire with 6-7 teams.

lol...okay now we got a list going.

To be great you must win :

1. with awful talent

2. with awful assistant coaches (this somehow magically doesn't mean you have a bad eye for coaching talent...that's a dot left unconnected out there)

3. and you can't ever have close games....finding a way to win is a negative, everybody knows this...

Of course you can have close games. It's just more impressive when they're against the likes of Alabama and LSU than Kentucky and Clemson.

The answer to the question is he has already proven it.

What you have in general is dumbasses and haters that ran their mouth to much to admit they were wrong. It embarrasses them now, so they try to convince themselves they were right with whatever they can.

Kinda pathetic, but that is just the way some people are built.

So true...If you had asked these people last spring if Chizik would be a great coach if he wins the 2010 NC they would have agreed that he was while laughing their arse thinking it would never happen.

billick has one superbowl win and was carried by a defense to that superbowl win when he is an offensive guy.

nah im just saying the defense needs to play a part in his teams winning instead of one super freak semipro athlete.

Has anyone said "do what he did this year without Cam"?

The guy is 8-0 in bowl games he has coached. He has coached on 3 of the last 5 BCS conference teams to go undefeated and he is currently turning Auburn into a powerhouse while everybody is thumbing their nose at him.

Win a game without the God factor. That's an obvious unfair advantage.

Good reasoning...I can't explain how the Clemson player dropped the touchdown pass in overtime or the Mark Ingram fumble going 20 yards down the sideline.

I knew UA was fricked after that. That was the most improbable bounce of all time.

ha! i thought you typed bellicheck originally....

I disagree with the semi-pro athlete part...he was no more semi-pro than PP7...

You don't believe the D played a part in holding bammer to 67 yards in the second half of the iron bowl, holding a hot SC at the time to 17 points, and holding Oregon to 19 points?

If not, we'll just have to agree to disagree...

1. Have a winning record against Kentucky.

2. Win 10 games or more next year.

3. Win while staying under the salary cap.

I have had some serious debates with people over which was more improbable, the Ingram bounce or the LSU fake against FL. I'm sure someone could crunch the numbers..
