All three of these "facts" are just relative truths. He was only the head coach in two of those bowl wins. He was only the head coach in one of those 3 championships.
As for turning Auburn into a powerhouse, what exactly constitutes a powerhouse in your mind?

This comes with time. It can't be rushed. As it stands right now, he's a good coach. Greatness comes as a product of more years than he's put in so far.

1. Prove he can field a defense as a head coach
2. Come out of this NCAA investigation clean
we'll find out after gus leaves if chiz is for real or not. I'm not gonna say chiz is a bad head coach but lets not forget iowa state rejoicing that Auburn hired him.

He just needs to figure out how to keep "da Trooper" on his staff. That guy is AU's most important fb coach. He carryies the money sack and does all the dirty work. See Blake from NC! I will say this: He inherited a group of senior linemen that know every dirty trick in the book. They're especially adept at chop blocking. That gave your money-man qb plenty of opportunities to get open.
