Still LSwho is behind UT in every sport

Can you mention one sport that LSU is better than UT at in either university's history

Funny thing is you cannot write the history of the CWS without UT

University of Texas has been there more than any other university by a wide margin. They have actually appeared in more than half of the CWS

And USC has won the most by a wide margin. Doesn't mean they are worth a shite today.

USC's baseball program may have won more National Championships but their baseball program can't even match up to UT

.730 winning percentage 1st
3452 all time wins 2nd behind Fordham who doesn't even play high level baseball
77 conference championships that is winning the conference over 75% of the time
Holds almost every CWS and NCAA tournament record

Garrido allowed the program to fall apart the last few years because he was an alcoholic
The program is back on the path to becoming what everyone expects it to be

There is no conference in collegiate athletics that wants tu in it, at any price. And you once again prove what a joy it is to be around your fan base.

I'm surprised that Randy and his alter, lester, haven't shown up yet.

Keep telling yourself that

Have you been informed about how the BIG attempted to bring UT and OU into their conference in a move to open negotiations with ESPN on a new TV contract that included the prime time games on not just ABC but ESPN

If the SEC loses their prime time ESPN game their next TV contract will not be even close to what the BIG receives. I am talking about 50%

to be fair, when you hire a high caliber guy and put your stamp on it, you kinda need said hire to work out. Much different than settling for a 2nd or 3rd option and it not working out. IMO

You are delusional if you think the B1G is ready to sign its own death warrant and ask tu to join. First of all, what about OSU? They are tied at the hip with OU. Are they going also?

Second, you are nuts if you think ESPN is going to scrap its contact with the SEC so they can appease tu.

In reality, the LHN will be folded by ESPN. And y'all aren't going anywhere.

How will it be their death warrant when it is actually the life blood a dying area of the country needs

The majority of BIG states are losing population and if UT and OU decide to go elsewhere the BIG is finished

Their attempt to become a conference of the Northeast has failed because besides ND no one cares about college football in the NE

Don't you understand that if the BIG pulls in Texas they will have pretty much weekly matchups of Blue Blood universities
UT, OU, Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State and Nebraska

If this happens I will love to be in Lincoln for that first matchup when UT shows back up to ruin the dreams of the Children of the Corn

Ok? Texas is nothing more than a big fish in a small pond. In the sec texas would be one of many bigtime programs. I'm talking 6 in football alone...texas doesn't want any of that. Recruits sure don't seem to give a damn about you being the university of Texas lately do they?

What you don't seem to grasp is that tu has ruined every conference they have been in. You could never be in the SEC because of us, Arkansas and Missouri. Florida, UGA, USC, and Kentucky would also "no" vote you because of the "agreement."

You think the B1G is on life support without you? What an arrogant little frick you are. The Midwest will likely see a renaissance under this President. And if manufacturing upticks in that area, so will the engineering and technology fields that are associated with that. Places like Indianapolis, Columbus, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Chicago, Milwaukee and even Detroit and Cleveland could substantially benefit in the coming years. This would reverse population trends.

Couple that with B1G alum transplants in the sunshine states, that still have family "back home." And you really think B1G viewership is declining and that tu/OU will save them? I don't know how you could be any more arrogant, because anyone with a brain knows that the B1G is thieving and doesn't need or want you.

And what about OU doing anything and everything they can to try and separate from tu? If anything (and this assumes OU can shed OSU) look for KU and OU to go to the B1G without you.

The fact of the matter is that tu is a boondoggle of arrogant pricks that think they are better than everyone else. In addition, your school can only thrive in a league where your benevolence is needed. tu "needs" to be needed. No one in the SEC or the B1G gives a frick about you or wants you around.

Y'all have a track record of fricking up conferences.

Actually it would still be a big fish in a small pond

Besides Florida, A&M and UGA no other university actually can be called a big fish across the nation in power. The term Big Fish for those universities is of the minnow variety

Jealous are we

OU is not well respected enough along with KU to be wanted without UT

Don't you think every SEC University will beg UT to join if it made a huge difference to their bottom line

Just admit your little 100 year decision is backfiring on you

In what way has our move to the SEC backfired? Good lord, you are not a smart one.

After being in the SEC, I'd rather not have athletics than be back in the XII with y'all.

Problem is out of the 17 times LSU has played UT you have only won 7 games

You think these two games will be different
