What do the Ags think of Chavis going into 2017?

Finished 51st then 90th in total defense. Last year on contract. What's going to happen? Will he go with Sumlin? will they get rid of him? extension? Are things looking up for the wrecking crew?

I think the linebackers could be a strength this year.
Issues at DE. Question marks at corner. I remember someone saying we have like 15+ or more defensive backs on scholarship so hopefully something pans out at corner

It doesn't matter because Sumlin's fecal touch affects everything regardless of who the coordinators are.
He's now on his 4th OC, 2nd DC, 2nd ST Coach, 2nd WR Coach, 3rd OL Coach, and 3rd DB coach.

Likely. Maybe worse. Almost certain losses at Florida, at LSU, to Auburn, and to Alabama. Likely losses to one of the Mississippi schools and one of Arkansas/South Carolina/at UCLA.

A&M had more talent than Mississippi State, Ole Miss, and Kansas State in 2017. Still managed to lose to all three.

Chavis has been a joke. Giving up 54 to Ensminger and Etling 5 days after a horrible loss to Florida is an embarrassment. Aranda has been so much better so thanks for taking the lazy buffoon
