outside of 4 OCs, those numbers are pretty much par for the course for any other SEC team in a 5 year span. And offense has never been yalls problem. Yall are just an embarrassment to society and this conference.

Fired the DB Coach and S&C Coach.

Chavis is a big improvement and isn't going anywhere. We didn't have Jimmy's or Joe's at LB and Corners.

Yes it would be my 3rd Chavis book. One for Tenn, one for LSU, and one for A&M now.

Gonna call it "3rd and Chavis"

It sounds artsy but still gets the point across. I really like it.

Finished 51st then 90th in total defense. Last year on contract. What's going to happen? Will he go with Sumlin? will they get rid of him? extension? Are things looking up for the wrecking crew? I need answers, Ags.

I know you're not really looking for honest discussion but I'll give it a shot anyway.

The Aggie defense the last two years was bad, not because of coaching but because of talent. Sure they had a couple top end starters that could play anywhere but 3-11 was not sec caliber and the depth was nonexistent.

Chavus was a really good coordinator because of the simplicity of his scheme and his ability to put players in position to make plays. The difference between him now and him 5 years ago is he no longer has those playmakers. His reliance on turnovers and negative plays is going to be his downfall.

He could still be an effective coordinator but he is not what Aggie needs right now.

I'm partially trolling and partially seeking answers. It's the best mix. It's yuuuuge.

What do they need then? What kind of talent is there? I don't follow A&M that much. All I know about was Garrett, Hall, Alaka, Richard Moore, and the safety

What they need is corners that can cover and dlineman that can hold their own against the run. Doesn't matter how well you rush the passer If teams never have to throw the ball.

They have an ok starting 4 but not much depth. I don't know much about the secondary.
