Here's an official list of Mississippi

Alcorn State
Belhaven University
Bryson University
Delta State
Jackson State
Mississippi State
Mississippi University for Women
Mississippi Valley State
Ole Miss
Southern Miss
William Carey University

Other 4-year institutions:

Blue Mountain College
Millsaps College
Rust College
Tougaloo College
Mississippi College
Southeastern Baptist College

There's also a Mississippi State Meridian Campus and a Southern Miss Gulf Park Campus.... are they considered individual schools (like UAB and UAH) or are they just branches of the larger Universities?

No, its all schools. Baylor has 15,000 students, TCU has 9,000. Neither crack the top 12 with those numbers.

No ABAC??? That's a shame. According to some down here in South Georgia, you aren't cool unless you attend ABAC.

I grew up in south Georgia. The ones who were smart enough not to have to go to ABAC referred to it as "Stayback"
