Cotton Bowl: Alabama vs Michigan - I would love to beat the hell out of dork Harbaugh

Orange: Clemson vs Notre Dame - Just don't see any way this doesn't happen without Alabama losing to Georgia

Fiesta: Georgia vs Oklahoma - Surely you watched the Rose Bowl last year

Sugar: LSU vs West Virginia - LSU and West Virginia fans in New Orleans... Enough said

Peach: Central Florida vs Florida - Anytime Florida teams get together sparks fly. UCF trying to take on the system gets to take on their state's flagship.

Rose: Washington State vs Ohio State - Leach, Minshew, and company throw for 1000+ on Urban and Schiano's porous defense.

Obviously hoping for a different outcome in Atlanta, so mine look a little different.

Cotton Bowl: Clemson vs Michigan - Pair Clemson up against a legit defense and let's see how they fare.

Orange: Georgia vs Notre Dame - this would make the matchup happen 3 years in a row... start of a new rivalry

Fiesta: Bama vs Oklahoma - No real interest in rematch of OU and would rather not have to face Bama twice... no hard feelings.

Sugar: LSU vs West Virginia - LSU and West Virginia fans in New Orleans... Enough said

Peach: Central Florida vs Ohio State - No win situation for a bad Ohio State team... Throw fuel on the heaping dumpster fire that is the "P5 >>> G5" conversation so that UCF then is forced to schedule better and then find out that the regular season can be hard. Either tOSU wins and everyone says "oh well"... or UCF wins and the collective OSU fanbase shits themselves at once

Rose: Washington State vs Florida - Answer the debate of whether Leach could have success against a real SEC defense. Florida with strong talent on the backend but would need to succeed on offense to make this interesting.

Yes, and I have no interest in that matchup two years in a row.
I know it isn't likely, but I would love to see us play Ohio State. Please, football gods. Please make it happen.

I would like to see this too, but the Rose Bowl automatic tie kills its chances. The automatic tie ins should've been scrapped under this system. Didn't Auburn make the Sugar Bowl with 4 losses a couple years ago? A 4 loss team shouldn't get a major bowl unless they somehow win their conference.

For Georgia, my dream matchup is the Sugar Bowl against Texas.

First off Sugar Bowl because it's my favorite NY6 to play in (we make a trip or two to Atlanta every year, it feels like)

Texas would be great because it's one of the defining brands in CFB that we never really get to play (i.e. Notre Dame last year) and I'm pretty sure we'd beat them.

Four SEC teams in a NY6 bowl? 3 is more likely and would probably play in the Peach and Sugar Bowl, IMO.

My ideal New Years 6 matchups are to play the two 1st Round playoff games, and the rest of the country realize that consolation bowl games are an embarrassment, not everyone gets to be a winner, and if your not one of the 4 playoff teams take your a$$ home like they do in every other sport when you aren’t good enough to make the postseason.

It’s a complete embarrassment seeing 6 win teams win a bowl game and hold up a fake trophy & drown their coach in Gatorade because they won the Ragu Soup Bowl.

Yeah... I didn't really think about tie ins when I put mine together, just modified what I would have changed in ideal world. I hate the automatic tie ins now... Historically, they made sense. They just don't now.

Cotton- Clemson vs Alabama
Orange- Georgia vs Notre Dame

...I actually think this is what will happen

I think the best thing for the SEC will be for UGA to beat Bama in the SEC championship game.

I think Ohio St. squeeks by Michigan and Northwestern, but is left out.

Rematch of Bama-UGA for the National Championship.

Bama wins again.

Meh I like good football games, and not every other sport has massive competition gaps like college football. If national championship is the only thing that matters, we might as well only have like 8 teams play any season at all.

College football was more interesting when everyone wasn't so obsessed with the term "national championship"

I'd say UGA, Bama, and LSU assuming they beat TAMU again will definitely get a bid.

Florida may need a little help. They're 13th right now I think, and they should jump Texas or West Virginia because one of those teams is guaranteed one more loss.

They probably need Washington State to win out to make sure Utah or Washington does not jump them. I don't think Utah State is much danger because I think the committee only guarantees one spot to G5 teams.

Ah man, you’re right. Bad teams should be rewarded too!
Let’s make 75 different bowl games, everyone’s a winner. Oh crap, the losers of the games don’t win. Oh wait, let’s give them a trophy too! Everyone is a winner!

Cotton Bowl: Bama vs UCF (it would take a few teams to lose unexpected games this weekend but, hey, it's my "ideal" matchups, so....

Orange Bowl: Clemson vs Notre Dame

Fiesta: Georgia vs Michigan

Sugar: LSU Vs Oklahoma (great offense vs great defense - defense wins)

I would just love to see the "two" National Champs play each other and asking UCF to put up or shut up.

We're talking about 10 win teams here, and everyone with a respectable amount of intelligence knows what bowl games are more important so I don't see what the big deal is.
