For me for LSU: Consistency

What happened last year with an inexperienced but talented team with a new coach was to be expected. Highs and Lows.

The Highs were High: Bama, Florida, State.

The Lows were Low: VOLS, UGA, Aggie.

Ugly wins against Arkansas and Auburn.

What Coach Kelly was hired for was to establish a consistency that was lacking in our previous 2 regimes.

Regardless of the Win/Loss record I’m just hoping to see a team who is in every game with a chance to win in the last 5 minutes of every game we play. If we do that I think we can be at the very least a 10 win team.

If we do that it will be tremendous growth in year 2 for Coach Kelly in my opinion.

Brian Kelly winning the SEC West for the 2nd time in 2 attempts.

Then Brian Kelly being the 4th LSU coach to win a national championship in the last 20 years

frick yeah!
Trust me I’m hoping we go 15-0 and crush everyone as well!

If that doesn’t happen I just want to see growth. We hired the right guy. Eliminating the ups and downs of last season cements it.

Roster was depleted 2 years ago and we’re realistically another cycle or 2 to being back where we should be in terms of depth. Doesn’t mean we can’t have a huge year this year (health is key) but to me consistency is the biggest thing I’m looking forward to.

Brian Kelly won the SEC West in his first year after taking over a team with less than 40 scholarship players in 2022.

Natty or bust in 2023.

LSU…it just means more.

I’m looking forward as to how our QB situation turns out. At this point I don’t know who’s gonna start, or if we’ll have tandem qbs.

I am looking forward to seeing what Alabama’s offense will look like. I think it will be a run heavy offense leaning on a very good offensive line and several good but young running backs. Who will be at QB. Will it be a prostyle with Buchner? Or will it be Milroe? Or, can Milroe refine his passing accuracy like Daniels did last year and become a true duel threat. If so; doubtful; lube thy buttucks.

The chase for a 3-peat. May be the only time in my life I get to see one of my teams chase that.

I'm sorta on the same wavelength with ol Genghis Kahn on this one....

“The greatest happiness is to vanquish your enemies, to crush them before you and laugh as their villages burn. To rob them of their wealth, to see those dear to them bathed in tears, to clasp to your bosom their wives and daughters."

Discipline, the team has committed way too many penalties over the last 3-4 years.

Now that Pete is gone, I'm hoping we stop folding defensively.

An offense that isn't playing backyard ball.

I will be satisfied if our defense plays aggressively, our offensive line controls ball games, and we play without stupid penalties.

Tough decision...
A&M lining up in a ridiculous 3 man front on defense when its 3rd and 2.

Losing to State again.

what the hell happens between Jimbo and Petrino. Its either going to be great or a disaster.
