If it is moved, it should be moved to Charlotte. Makes the most sense logistically.
I thought I heard there was a Nascar event in Charlotte that would be an issue.

Play it in Atlanta if it needs to be moved. Problem solved. No need for a 30 page flame thread over this.
And chances are, it might need to be moved. Stadium is fine but that state is basically a disaster right now. This morning's report said 389 roads were closed and it'll take years to fix the damage from this storm.

You're not up to date. Georgia Southern is in the Atlanta Dome Saturday, whatever it's called.

The fact that there's still people saying the game should be moved to Charlotte or Atlanta shows how uninformed they are. LSU fans were the first to address the potential of a venue change a week in advance.

The idea is find a neutral site. But I'm not surprised if this game gets moved.

I even went to some other USC boards. Only talk is about last weeks game, and the upcoming opponent. They aren't even talking about the possibility of it being moved...
Meanwhile on the tiger rant, we have already made the decision to move the game, established possible locations, determined how to handle tickets at the new venue, created ideas for advertisements for relief funds, and figured out how to get personnel to work the game.
This pretty much sums up this shite storm of a thread. Glad I didn't get caught up in it.

we would likely swap with the return leg next year (unless I'm mistaken on scheduling).
This is the return leg of the home and home.

Or maybe we haven't had the chance to follow this issue today and don't want to read through a thread that has clearly resulted in "u mad!"

I'm not trying to flame, and I admit that I don't have any inside info on the topic, but I just want to point out that if any fan base knows about having to fight the weather for home games, it's LSU fans. We've had our fair share of games left up in the air due to hurricanes in the last 15 years.
I hate it for South Carolina fans, and I know your pain. I know how disappointed I was when we lost home games due to Katrina and lightning, had the season opener moved to 10:00 AM on the Wednesday or Thursday prior to that game. It just sucks not knowing what is going to happen.
I hope you get your home game, I hope you stay safe and get your homes and daily lives back to normalcy. But if the game gets moved to Tiger Stadium, I'll be there and I'll bring you with me in spirit.

Certainly it has occurred to USC fans that if a change is going to occur that the USC officials will engage the BR/LSU folks BEFORE they announce a decision. Following your logic , USC would not engage anyone , make an isolated decision to not hold the game in Columbia, announce that decision and THEN engage reps from other venues. There is no pot stirring, agenda or speculation going on.

An early LSU game at Bank of America stadium followed by a night race in Concord sounds like the ultimate Saturday. And I've never even been to a NASCAR race.

South Carolina fans always have baseball season.

Been talked about for over a week now.

Let's be real. They've probably had their attention on other things for the past week. I think we can all relate to that.

Shows how uninformed you are, then. Baton Rouge is mobilizing resources for the game atm btw.
