Inferior play caller yes. My order of preference is Mac, Bryce, Tua. It’s Tua and Bryce are more talented but the offense just ran to perfection with Mac calling the shots.

Who knows what the word is?

I've been reading Bama fans "no excuses" and "we don't have backups. We have more starters" on here for a long minute.

The past 10 months have been hilarious.

You could've just said "yes," but your response pretty much answered the question anyway.

I think but I’d prefer Mac Jones, Tua, or even McCarron as a passer.

I bet you would.

Yeah. I never said shite about Williams being the reason they lost the NCG but I suppose if it helps you think you got me, I won't stop you from feeling good about yourself. I'm simply pointing out that you throw to who you trust. EVERY QB does it. If you don't trust a position group as much as you did in a previous year, even a retard would change who they throw it to.

If you don't trust them, why recruit them?
If you dont trust them, why put them on the field?

I'm sure Bama recruits love to hear that the top team in college football for recruiting doesn't trust their own evals.

So you throw to the receivers 60+% of the time but you don't trust them.

1) Bryce Young: Won a Heisman behind a horrific line, had less to work as far as weapons than Tua or Mac Jones and had BOB instead of Sark at OC which matters. He also had to start as a Sophomore so he had less time to prepare than Mac and still came through. Has the ability to run which neither Tua or Mac brought to the table. Needs to win a NC or he will drop back on the list IMO.
2) Tua: Was ready to start as a Sophomore and delivered 4th and 21 as a Freshman which is impressive. Was injury prone however and got to benefit from having one of the best WR groups in CFB history and outstanding OL play his entire career.
3) Mac Jones: Best overall season IMO, but also had arguably the best OL of all time, the best OC in CFB in Sark, had Devonta Smith/Waddle/Najee and got to sit and learn for 3 years before getting tossed into the fire.

Bryce needs to win a NC as the starting QB to be in the same category as Mac and Tua. The Heisman was deserved and I think he's an exceptional talent, but it's all about championships. Granted, he does have a SEC championship to his credit and got a raw deal with his top WRs going out for the NC game, but it is what it is. No one is going to put much stock in excuses about the talent around him when Bama has nothing but top 3 recruiting classes every single year. It's a little crazy we don't have an alpha go to WR this year.

You took some offhand axiom about "you throw to who you trust" and you think it is some indictment on the recruiting and evaluation process of the Alabama team. FFS, Georgia throws 48% of their passes to WRs where Alabama throws 62% to their WRs. Why is that the case? Does Kirby not know how to evaluate WRs? Does he not trust them? Why put them on the field if he doesn't throw to them... or is he, say it with me "throwing it to who he trusts"! I am sure you will try to make some semantic argument that doesn't technically include the word "trust" in it but at the end of the day, you will make the same argument I did about throwing to the position group that gives them the best chance to win the game that day. Doesn't mean Kirby or Saban is a failure at recruiting/evaluating WRs.

And are you retarded enough to think some recruit is looking at some comment on SECrant where some random poster writes "you throw to who you trust" and decides that Saban doesn't trust his WRs? Well that is just adorable! Recruits look at the NFL players and stats..., and out of Saban and Kirby, the stats say Saban trusts his WRs. Just freaking adorable. Later.

If I had to rank the recents:

Mac
Tua
Young
McCarron
Hurts
Sims
Coker/McElroy

He was the first Bama QB to win a Heisman. I'd take him for my team in a heartbeat. What a stupid question.

Georgia doesn't cry like a child when our players are hurt for a big game.

"No excuses"
"We don't have backups. We have more starters".

It doesn't matter whether Stetson Bennett is throwing TDs to a couple of freshmen or to tight ends, or to RBs. The goal is to win the game with who you have.
Always has been

Cheers

That wasn't crying about the loss.

I was explaining to another dawg fan why cager was a bigger piece of the offense than wims (who got hurt in the ncg by the way. But you don't have a link to post game ncg loss in 2017 about hurt players, do you)

Stud. Gamer. Up there with the rest of the guys, but will surpass them once he wins the NC as a starter.

Since you brought it up, Wims got hurt in the 2017 NCG, Holloman got hurt in the 2018 SECCG, and Cager was hurt prior to the 2019 SECCG.

You want to find those 10,000 posts by dawg fans afterward about injuries to our best WR being why we lost the game?

You did find a post of me debating to another dawg fan which injured WR was more impactful for our offense when healthy. UGA fans are definitely a different breed than gumps. That is for sure.
