I mean he's not wrong, I love college baseball but outside the SEC most people don't care about college baseball.

We have a lot more experience beating Top 5 teams than you guys do. Regardless of the sport.
And we try to win every game. Only an obsessed little brother would consider blowing a game to keep their big bro from a championship.

We owed you for 2008.
This scenario sound familiar ... Last place MSU somehow found a way to win a game from 1st place LSU on the final weekend while Ole Miss swept , wait for it, the Arkansas Razorbacks.
Us and LSU shared the regular season title at 20-10.
Congrats again and now we're even.

Disclaimer; the use of 'if' where 'of' should be is the Black Bear's grammar, not mine.

You're both wrong, but the MSU fan is less wrong.
Neither school has accomplished anything of real significance in the two major sports, with MSU's run to the Final 4 in '96 (20 years ago) as an exception.
So, for OM and MSU, winning the SEC Baseball Regular Season Championship is a big deal, as they historically suck in football and basketball, and they know it.
OM doesn't know they suck, and for some reason think they have a proud history, which really isn't that great and it ended in the 60's. So even though they won't admit it, baseball is all they have too.
I'm for MSU winning the Baseball Natty, as then OM with be the only SEC school with out a recognized Natty in the any of the big three sports...

Both Mississippi teams were a combined 11-0 in the big 3 sports vs Auburn this year. The more you know
