You know of a 21 point play in college football?

You wouldn't change the Alabama game (Alabama 24, Arkansas 20)?

2016: National title game versus Clemson

Alabama has the first 15-0 team of the modern era. Goes down as arguably the best of all time.

You clearly don’t get the point of the thread.

Absolutely not, a decent team may have made the NCG

2017: UCF 49, USF 42 or UCF 62, Memphis 55
literally, no one cares about UCF. And, their obsolete, single source computer poll trophy made for quality entertainment on this board.

2018: Clemson 28, Texas A&M 26
1-loss Clemson is still in the CFPs and the result likely stays the same. Plus, it was a wake up call a long time in the making for the team. 2019 team was better for that loss. Bama overcame a lot of injuries across the board, showed a ton of resiliency, and began to play with pride again. They easily could have mailed it in on defense when playing so many freshmen. They could have never come out of the locker room vs LSU at halftime, or turned on each other and/or Mac after multiple mistakes vs. AU. But, they didn't. They kept playing. Not sure they do that if not for the public spanking Clemson gave them the year prior.

Sorry, I didn't read the rules

I just went straight into posting.

If it's one score games then:

2011: Alabama regular season. Blow them out and make it to where they don't reach the national championship.

2015: Miss State Week 1. Barely beat them.

2019: North Carolina/Clemson. Wish they would've gotten exposed earlier in the year. NC almost pulled it off too.

and you may get bragging rights for two years without ever having to play a game...

Obviously, the people that believed one person can't change the world failed to account for the man who chose to eat an under cooked bat.

Wouldn't it be better to change this game then?

Iowa State 37, Oklahoma State 31 (2OT)

If Oklahoma State doesn't lose to a 30+ point underdog that ended the season 6-6, blowing a 17-point 4th quarter lead in the process, they never fall to 3rd in the BCS and LSU easily wins the national title without throwing a single pass.

State

2010 Auburn 17 State 14 - could have derailed the Cam train and given us 10 wins for the season.

2011 USCe 14 State 12 - would have given us 8 wins on the year and kept our streak against Spurrier alive.

2012 - No games lost by less than 9 points

2013 - Auburn 24, State 20. Game lost on practically the last play of the game.

2014 - Bama 25, State 20. Simply put that cost us a chance to be in the playoff and and a chance to win the NC.

2015- LSU 21, State 19. Cost us a chance win 10 games that year.

2016-LSU 23, State 20. Would have made three straight wins over LSU.

2017- Bama 31, State 24. Would have been a huge win over Bama. Played them straight up that night. Just came up short.

2018-Florida 13, State 6. Would have been a huge win for Moorhead along with beating Mullen.

2019-Kansas State 31, State 24. No excuse for losing this game at home. Team was flat.

For State the 2014 game was the biggest loss in the group by far.

No, that kick ensured Mike Sherman's departure. If anything, it might have even been better for Texas Tech to win (45-41 A&M was the final) as it would have been just another multi-score halftime lead blown by Sherman.

A&M hasn't gone undefeated at home since the 1999 season.

Prior to the loss to Colorado in 2000, A&M had won 22 straight at home. Between 1990 and 1999, A&M went 56-4-1 at Kyle Field. All four losses took place between 1995-1996.

2000: 2 losses (Colorado, Oklahoma)
2001: 1 loss (t.u.)
2002: 4 losses (Virginia Tech, Texas Tech, Nebraska, Missouri)
2003: 3 losses (Pittsburgh, Oklahoma State, t.u.)
2004: 1 loss (Oklahoma)
2005: 2 losses (Iowa State, t.u.)
2006: 3 losses (Texas Tech, Oklahoma, Nebraska)
2007: 1 loss (Kansas)
2008: 5 losses (Arkansas State, Miami, Kansas State, Texas Tech, Oklahoma)
2009: 2 losses (Oklahoma State, t.u.)
2010: 1 loss (Missouri)
2011: 3 losses (Oklahoma State, Missouri, t.u.)
2012: 2 losses (Florida, LSU)
2013: 2 losses (Alabama, Auburn)
2014: 3 losses (Ole Miss, Missouri, LSU)
2015: 2 losses (Alabama, Auburn)
2016: 2 losses (Ole Miss, LSU)
2017: 3 losses (Alabama, Mississippi State, Auburn)
2018: 1 loss (Clemson)
2019: 2 losses (Auburn, Alabama)

In fact, Jimbo Fisher is the ONLY A&M head coach to win the last home game every season of his tenure. (LSU 2018, South Carolina 2019)

Neither D.X. Bible, Emory Bellard, Jackie Sherrill, R.C. Slocum, nor Kevin Sumlin were able to do this.

2010: I don't follow other teams so I'm going to say none.

2011: we didn't have any one score losses all of ours were by 2+ TDS

2012: LSU ( we would've had a top 5 win and maybe our team would've been more motivated and had won a few more games if we won that game.)

2013: Florida State( no explanation needed)

2014: Texas A&M

2015: Georgia

2016: either Georgia or Clemson.

Clemson because they were highly ranked and were natty runner ups and could've been a motivating win for the team.

Georgia because they're a rival.

If I have to pick only one I'll go with Georgia

2017: UCF

2018: Tennessee

2019: LSU( would've been our first win there since I was 2 and we would've taken down one of the top teams in the country and winning that and Bama would've at least put us in a NY6 bowl)
