Florida’s secondary can’t tackle in a phone booth. Get to 17 and it’s over. Mullen can’t get to 18 against a Kirby defense.

That’s some scary shite

Better than Fromm? Holy shite. The dawg fans have gone full on delusional now. A 3 star average as grits QB better than a 5 star playoff winning, SEC champion QB?
This is a weird melt. Kinda sad really. No wonder Fromm wanted out of Athens. Get away from your stupid arse fan base and circus coach.

If that highlight video is that kid’s best then UGA needs to move on. Every throw was one read and chuck it on a post or deep seam.
I predict he’ll end up being a camp arm in he ends up at UGA.

It never fails. They always think that their recruits just show up and all of a sudden they get awesome. They are the ultimate “the back up is always better” fanbase.

He makes those throws and runs Fromm struggled with. Not good news for our opponents.

except maybe when the backup really is better and doesn't get a chance, so he splits the Athens scene

Trask would have been the #1 QB returning in the SEC even if Fromm had stayed

Trask also beat Chris Leak in every single passing category except for total yards where he missed by one but played two games less.
Who gives a flying frick?

Can't fault Georgia fans. Archaic offense with unimaginative playcalling is basically all they know. I already pointed out in another thread that QB + type of offense really helps Playoff chances.
"Scoring Offense:
Clemson (4th, 45 PPG)
Oklahoma (6th, 42.1 PPG)
LSU (1st, 48.9)
OSU (3rd, 46.9)
Georgia is 50th with 30.8, and while their model of a team is very sound for consistently winning 10 games a year, it's not actually good for winning championships."
And I mean, this is with Fromm and Swift + a veteran offensive line. Now they're bringing in a transfer (hopefully sooner rather than later) with no leadership on the offensive side of the ball.
Burrow type transfer QBs are rare, like super ultra rare. I remember when everyone was asking for the last transfer QB who actually did something noteworthy and I told everyone that Burrow was different.
To make a long story short: Until Kirby retools his offense and evolves he will never win a championship, no matter how much talent he has.
And that change will not take a single season, especially since there is no revolutionary offensive mastermind on Georgia's coaching staff.

He was literally in OT of the national title game two years ago. What the hell are you talking about?
I'm not saying Kirby shouldn't change it up but what you're saying has already been disproven

Our 2017 and 2018 offenses were championship worthy. One even won a championship. That was with an athletically limited, one dimensional qb.

You let me know when I should open my eyes. Let me ask you something serious. Forget how we beat your arse every year and how you have very little talent on your team and how your holy QB looked like shite against our D which will be better next year.
Here’s what I want to ask you homie. Have you ever listened to Dan Mullen talk? Have you ever watched his behavior? Seen how bad he wants to be like the normal people? Have you watched his desperate wife licking his players? So tell me now: do you think this person is normal? Is he a normal functioning human being?
Something is very off. Forget that he loses to UGA every year, he’s just a fricking weirdo. How do you look at yourself in the mirror knowing that fricking strange arse dude is the head coach of your football team?
Just curious.

He won the National Championship? So, no, it hasn't refuted.
Do you want to know why you guys lost? Here, let me give you a hint so you guys can follow along:
Tua.
In two quarters and overtime he accounted for three touchdown passes. If Alabama had played him the entire game Georgia wouldn't have even been in the game. Alabama went from 0 to 26 to win.
That was two years ago. Now all you guys are riding is a single SEC Championship. Last year Alabama beat you again (hilariously) and this year LSU basically bent you over like a prostitute and threw a towel over your head.
Michel and Chubb were once in a lifetime and they saved your offense, not Fromm. He was okay that year, but we can see that without those two Kirby's offenses are not nearly productive when they need to be.
You guys got 286 yards total against LSU at a neutral site.
Trask threw for 310 yards in Death Valley at night.
You guys can bring up that Georgia beat Florida by a single touchdown but with the talent disparity it should have been by 3.
Instead it was Georgia getting rolled by LSU despite having all of that talent.

The top 10 college football quarterbacks returning in 2020 per PFF:
10. LAYNE HATCHER, ARKANSAS STATE
9. PEYTON RAMSEY/MICHAEL PENIX JR., INDIANA
8. DUSTIN CRUM, KENT STATE
7. BROCK PURDY, IOWA STATE
6. SAM EHLINGER, TEXAS
5. TANNER MORGAN, MINNESOTA
4. SAM HOWELL, NORTH CAROLINA
3. JAMIE NEWMAN, UNKNOWN (TRANSFER)
Jamie Newman recently caused chaos in college football when he unexpectedly announced his decision to transfer from Wake Forest. The decision still looms over what team Newman will be a part of in 2020, but with programs such as Oregon and Oklahoma in need of a replacement, they have to be salivating over the possibility of him joining. Through the first 11 weeks, college football’s highest-graded quarterbacks were Joe Burrow, Justin Fields and Jamie Newman. He ended the year slower than the start, but Newman still is one of college football’s biggest breakout players of the season.
The tight-window passing he has put on display has been next level and a large reason why he is highly sought after on the transfer market. Joe Burrow is far and away the highest-graded quarterback throwing to a tight window, but Newman is second — and third isn’t anywhere near him. He also limited his uncatchable pass rate to the fourth lowest.
Newman has some rushing ability and has seen the eighth-most designed rushes for a quarterback (128). While some may say it’s his rushing that can be his greatest weapon, it’s clearly his arm. He’s the second highest-graded on 20-plus yard throws and was worth the 12th most wins above average in college football, despite playing in fewer games than everyone else. As said, if I’m Oregon or Oklahoma — I’d be sending the house to pick up Newman for the 2020 season.
2. JUSTIN FIELDS, OHIO STATE
1. TREVOR LAWRENCE, CLEMSON

Apparently our former walk on #5 QB is better than anyone in the SEC returning, including our #4, #3 and #2 QBs from that same period.

He's here. Ranked 11th in the country for Total QBR. Newman's not even in the top 50 for Total QBR.
Also here. Ranked 15th in the country for QBR. Newman is 40th.

On face value, some of the grades don't seem to pass the eye test, but at least they come at it from a data driven perspective. They track EVERYTHING.
