How many of the schools, who have been reported as being under NCAA investigation, have come out publicly and stated that they are indeed under an NCAA investigation?

You’re missing the point. Anyone can file an FOIA request for this information and as a state university LSU would have to comply. I mean yahoo already requested, received, and released Will Wade’s phone records through such a request. Don’t you think they’d be doing the same with an NOA (would be a much bigger story)

What I said had nothing to do with LSU releasing or not releasing information on their own. LSU doesn’t have to take the initiative to release information for it to be released.

I would think that, but as I stated later............no solid news has come out about any of the Universities under speculation of an NCAA investigation. Either the NCAA is actually looking into certain schools or they are sitting on their hands. I don't believe they are sitting on their hands.

Yes, a public university has to comply with a FOIA request, but they can stall for a pretty damn long time if they so choose with no recourse for the requestor other than to repeat the request. I'm not saying LSU has done this, but if they want to, they can effectively squash a FOIA probably until basketball season has begun with no sweat.

LSU has not received either a NOI or a NOA. LSU may yet be investigated more than the Smart mini-investigation of last March, but LSUAD has not been notified of that as of today.

Yeah, here is the al.com story this morning.

LINK

They are expecting the NOA and are jumping out in front of this to lead the narrative. Smart.

Needless to say, (and regardless of what he wants) Chuck is being called a rogue coach and will not be welcomed back anytime soon.
