Would love to poach Drew Burress. Apparently Stricklin fricked up his recruitment big time

Stricklin fricked up the program so badly I thought no one could ever repair it. It's part of what makes Johnson's success this season so surprising.

In about 10 years, I am going to make a post like this when Florida makes the football playoff. It will have expanded to 24 teams by then.

Did I say 24, I meant 64.

As soon as Florida hires a competent AD they'll be back.

Are you guys going to now inaccurately proclaim yourselves blue bloods like you do in football. It was cute when Clemson did it before 2019 but it doesn’t have the same charm when you guys do it.

Only two SEC bluebloods in Football with OU joining (Bama/OU).

Only two SEC bluebloods in Baseball with Texas joining (Texas/LSU)

UGA baseball 2024 has been fun to watch, is doing well given we have a new coach, and got the pleasure of ending our rivals season in the regional.

Pre-season I think we were picked to finish 12th in the SEC. Now we are ranked 7th in the Nation and will be hosting a Super Regional.

That sounds like a huge jump, but 12th in the SEC could be one of the 20 best in the nation.

That said, congrats. Great season.

UGA is looking good. I wouldn’t be surprised at all to see them in Omaha.

They are undoubtedly in their McGarity era. Find you a Josh Brooks and let him cook (or don’t. Actually, don’t do that. You’re doing great!)

I didn’t realize that this was y’all’s first trip to a Super since Gordon Beckham in 2008. That seems like it was yesterday

Wes is getting some good experience for when he comes back to Arkansas when DVH retires.

Hope UGA does well in the Supers!

People are definitely paying attention to your coach..
who is going to Super Regionals in his first year..
who also helped LSU win the NC last year..
who also has Pro Coaching experience..

Johnson is about to get paid to leave or stay..

Congrats. Wes was 2 years behind me in college so always good to see him do well no matter where he's coaching. Glad we had him at LSU for a year.

Yep, how pathetic is that in a baseball state.
