In-state talent for basketball is galaxies different from football. We could recruit exclusively within our state every year and still be one of the more talented rosters in the conference.
Your current roster says otherwise, only one player from Arkansas.

Yeah... They were off in first half. Not sure we can beat them, but it may not be a beat down. We have a punchers chance.

Seven players from Arkansas are in the NBA.

Arkansas churns out basketball talent like crazy for a population of only 3 million.

I wouldn't be shocked if the Hogs win. A talent like Acuff can carry you a long way.

Where did they play in college, that's the question. Were all 7 at UA at the same time?

So there’s currently more than one player from Arkansas on your roster? Sealey is from AR but doesn’t look like much of a contributor.
You guys put out talent but there's the issue of locking down all the home town kids because some are going to bounce. Then you better be producing high level PG's every year and I'm not sure any state meets that criteria.
Your #1 recruit Nick Smith Jr didn't play many games for you guys which was a shame, enjoyed watching that kid play. Can't remember who backed him up but was that person from AR?
So sure, you could build a roster with all AR kids but you're not going far because remember, this is what you said:
"We could recruit exclusively within our state every year and still be one of tte more talented rosters in the conference."
Not sure you legitimately know ball if you believe this.

I miss something? I count 4 SEC teams still in tourney. I had 6 in my bracket (Florida/Vandy) but 4 is pretty good.

No because unlike football Arkansas cares about basketball. All but 3-4 SEC schools pump a lot of money into basketball.
The state of Arkansas pumps out great basketball players and Arkansas is a top 20 brand in basketball. Top 10 with Cal

Say what? Do the math. Over the last 5 years, that would be 12 top recruits out of the top 750 players. That's 1.6%. Yippee! Unless your numbers are wrong.

Not sure if actually retarded or just pretending to be retarded. Here's some pictures to help you understand.
This is the 4th ranked recruiting class in the conference not counting our existing class:
This is what our class would look like under the hypothetical of only signing players from in state:
Yes, we would absolutely still be one of the more talented teams in the conference.

Pretty sure that’s you creating the hypothetical situation here. And to no surprise it’s an Arkansas fan overvaluing anything Arkansas basketball.
Those top 3 recruits from Arkansas look to be about your usual class which isn’t enough to compete in the SEC. You’re tallest/highest ranked player in the last several years is a 6’8” former 4 star playing for a bad Clemson team in a weak ACC averaging 2.2 a game.
That would be the 5 on a team you were bragging about.
