Ha. I don't think so. There were a couple of angles showing only about a foot clearance or so. Either way, was a great way to finish the game.

Was watching the Falcons/Packers Sunday and the Packers were going to attempt a 51 yarder, but then got a delay a game and punted.
So you're telling me a NFL kicker can't, or doesn't think he can make a 56 yarder? Yikes.
Dude's probably already been tested.

Yea, I mean it's kind of crazy in the world of kickers. I hope Mevis is able to land on a roster somewhere with that leg of his.

Congrats!
That was a hellva kick. After they got the delay of game penalty, I thought that was it, he'll never make it from 61.

Don’t let that sonofabitch past your 50 bc he will score. We saw it last year when he almost beat us single footedly.

Under the rainy conditions I thought so too. Normal 70s or 80s degree day, no wind, he can boot it 70 without a lot of problems.

He will have a great story to tell his grandchildren about.
Great job.

Still can't believe he missed that kick in the Auburn game last year.
Speaking of, the AU kicker shares the record for AL HS for longest FG at...61 yards.

Well deserved. Mr Clutch
Will not disagree, unbelievable kick after his coach made it a 61 yard kick instead of 56. Now flash back to last year, Mizzou needed this kick to beat Auburn. (Auburn never deserved a victory less)

Note Mizzou had another chance to win (I thought they had), Fumble.

Wait, Missouri is in the SEC? When did that happen?
Haven't they been to Atlanta about as many times as Florida has since they entered the SEC?
They beat LSU once since then, which also puts them pretty close to the amount of times Florida has since then as well.

That was when they let FG kickers kick from a tee...

That game still makes me sick. It just wasn't meant to be.

I saw the kick live. I can tell people I witnessed the most important event in Mizzou football history.
