Thank you for the very nicely done graphics and research. I didn't need it to conclude Tennessee and Ole Miss both have terrible defenses.

So if what I'm seeing is correct the score of the Tennessee/Ole Miss game should be 125-123 or so.

It absolutely won't be, but how great would it be if it was some absolute shite show of baseball score like 3-2 or 5-3.

Yes it will be. Neyland will be full and roaring for the first time in several years, and it will be a very difficult environment for Ole Miss.

Despite the Rebels' defensive woes, Tennessee is a depleted team. If they figure us out like SCAR did in the second half last week, we are in trouble. Tennessee hasn't faced an offense that's anything close to Ole Miss- Pitt is not bad, but they're still a mile off from Kiffin'd offense.

It will be... for me. But if Ole Miss racks up 3 unanswered TDs in the first quarter, you can guess what I'll look like.

Not sure if my post was clear, since I put the qualifier before my statement, but I absolutely expect that game to just be pure offensive highlights with limited defense played. lol... I just revel in the idea of something everyone expects to be an offensive party being just a shite show slugfest low scoring affair.

It's pretty crazy that neither defense has almost ANY advantage in ANY category. The only semi-close advantage is Tennessee in short yardage run situations.

Tennessee has issues on offense when they get behind the chains, but Ole Miss is basically the worst Standard Down offense in the P5, so often will that even happen

Tennessee's defense has the stat profile of an anti-bend but don't break defense - they aggressively attack the QB and the ball (high havoc rates) but in turn give up big plays (bad explosive rate). So if they can get Ole Miss behind the chains with a few sacks they may have some chances for some stops.

If I didn’t know any better, I’d think George, George, George might just be leaning towards a Big Orange dub over Lane in General Neyland’s cathedral saturdee iyam

I don't quite trust the Heuptrain and ole Hondo Hookers just yet to go toe to toe with Lane and Matty Ice.

Looks like the Ole Miss-Tennessee game's going to have more fireworks than a 4th of July night.

I like the way the comparative stats are shown this way, thx.

Ole Miss’ starting D is good enough to get the job done. They have to get off the field on 3rd. We were down a few depth pieces on the DL last week and the starters were gassed by the end of the 3rd. I think our starting NG played 70+ snaps last week - just not a recipe for success. Get some of those pieces back and it could be a different game. Arky still only had 14 with 7 to go in the 3rd (I think)

I also enjoyed the occasional Matty Light back in the day.
