No previous years do not matter. But three different posters have touted a fake line.

But I though past games didn't matter? So do they matter or not?

If LSU can stop the run and pressure Fitz, he will fold. Mullen tends to get conservative in big games. I expect a low scoring affair. LSU 17-13

I can't really see state running the ball right at LSU. We have traditionally done well against QB's that like to run. I think the game will be decided on the other side of the ball and special teams.

Guice would have better ypc if he played more in the second half. He hasn't broken any of the long runs he is known for yet. They are more common in tghe 3rd and 4th quarter when the defense is tired. He hasn't been out there much in the second half. That ypc will get much higher.

State will have to win through the air and LSU has been defending passing well averaging 1.5 picks a game. I just don't see State running at all on LSU. The front 7 is nasty and if Key is back, Fitz will be running for his life.

Nothing would make me happier than State knocking LSU off but it's not happening. LSU beats them comfortably.

Both teams have elite front 7's. Both teams have capable to very good run games. I think it comes down to which QB can force enough pressure with the QB to allow their RB to work a little. At this point, I don't expect many points for either team.

I think you're looking at a game much like the last one in Starkville.
So, you mean a game that LSU dominates to the tune of 21-6 through 3+ quarters and then sits on it while Dak mounts a furious comeback to almost win it? Miles is gone, and so is Dak.

is it more likely that state scores more on aranda than canada does on state's d? no.

OMG a QB got sacked a few times!!!! It's the end of the world!!!! That's it, season over!!
Pretty much.

Your Oline is your weakest position. I don't care that they haven't allowed a mobile QB to be sacked by non existing defenses.
Yet your OL has allowed sacks by non exsisting defenses.
That's the point.

None of those teams have anywhere near the speed and power that LSUs defense has.
None of the teams LSU has faced has the size power and speed of MSU. Tha't kind of the point here boss.

Fitz will be sacked SEVERAL times in this game. Your running backs are average at best. Your receivers are decent but not outstanding.
LOL.... Sure thing. I'm pretty sure MSU heard all of that when Dak, Robinson, Wilson, Brown and company were smacking that naked arse in BR.

95% most likely.

Its not a point as much as you make it out to be. Its like saying STATE has a better Oline because of zero sacks with a mobile QB and Bama got sacked by Fresno st.

Well and neither has MSU and you know what, if we are just going to throw out the crap teams we both played and looked at the talent, LSU wins.

Congrats on beating the worst team LSU has had since the 90's.

i'm still not seeing my question answered because people are getting mired in meaningless stats. who here actually thinks state is going to score more on aranda than canada does on state? how likely is that?
I'm not that confident we will win, but this makes no sense to me. I haven't seen anything yall have done against 2 powderpuff teams to make me think those are the 2 greatest coordinators in history. Yall have a ton of talent on D, so I know we will have a hard time scoring. Yalls Arranda/Canada worship is really weird right now.

Canada aside, how has Aranda not gotten the respect?

We've both played chump teams so far but I'd put BYU over both of the teams State has played.
BYU:
118th in Offense (power house they are)
58th in Defense
La Tech:
41st in Offense (La Tech wins here)
73rd in Defense
Tell me again who was the better team?
BETTER YET, tell me how your all world RB managed 3.1 ypc LESS against the against that high octane defense?
