we went into denali national park on one of the tours. Drove 96 miles to the end of the "most western road in NA" or some such shite could have been northern but I'm pretty sure it was western. Looked at the map when I got back. Denali is in the middle of the state. literally half of the state does not have legit roads. Crazy.
also somewhat related sidenote: the history of whittier, alaska is pretty cool. visiting is pretty strange.

I wants MSU to beat LSU simply because of this map.
Heh, just had the same thought. Very different rationale for a game that I'm more passive on usually.

Way to go Auburn, you asshats all but blew our chance of getting South GA back
Clemson could lose to GT, pick it back up there. Otherwise, yeah... would have to be something very convoluted for us to get it now (barring CFP/bowls).

Also OP, from redditCFB's twitter, they updated leaders in area, # of counties/parishes, and population.

What a dumb fricking map. UofH has no fans outside of Harris county. There are probably more LSU fans in Beaumont than there are Houston fans.
It was a nice concept, but the way they chose the counties was stupid.

do any florida teams own any of flawda?

The 'original' map just distributed the counties based on the closest FBS team to each county (presumably the country seat). It is quite literally the most logical way to pick the counties in the beginning.

Miami should, and I see UCF and USF on the map.

You're stupid. Make your own map.

I met a guy up there many years ago who had driven all the way up from Iowa in a small RV with 8 kids and his wife. Took them a week to get there and they even broke down on the road. He sold his RV to a pawn shop for enough money to buy one way tickets for everyone back to Iowa just to keep from having to drive home with that bunch. Said he lost a ton of money, but he didn't give a crap. he would never do that again.

That's kinda the way it worked out for my friends.
The guy who drove his truck sold it and flew home. The other guy stayed and cleaned salmon for 8 months before buying a ticket

Tulsa does not deserve that much territory for beating lowly USL

Why does that one section say "here be dragons"
