The strange thing is that going by the "experts" that isn't a team loaded with talent. What is even more encouraging, especially in this NIL/portal era, is assembling a roster that makes sense and getting the fit right with the guys you take. Gates nailed both of those, even if it wasn't the most heralded portal class out there. You can look at other teams who did right the opposite, missing on both of those.
