Weaker first half schedule: Aggie or Horn?

Horn: CSU, @ Michigan, UTSA, ULM, Miss State, OU, UGA
1 away game, no quality wins, conference win against a bad OU team and a terrible 1-6 hail state, and an embarrassing home beat down against a good Georgia team.
Aggie: ND, Mcnese, @Florida, Bowling Green, Arky, Mizzou, Miss State
Loss to an above average ND team at home, 4 conference wins against state, middle of the pack arky and florida and a mizzou team that looks worse and worse every week.
Yikes, Aggie has the more impressive schedule thus far, but really havent been tested yet. Texas might struggle with Vandy this wknd.

Neither of us lost to a 3-4 USC team.

Our loss was in week one as well. Elko's very first game to be specific

Agree …it sure was. See you Saturday.

Best answer. Us Aggies fans should just enjoy the season as it unfolds. Like a zen practitioner, enjoy the moment, be in the moment-- ride this wave. It's thrilling!
Should be a fun game this Saturday.

Pretty decent schedule for us, considering we had a brand new staff, lost half our starters, and lost our starting QB for 3 games.
Playing ND first game instead of 7th was big disadvantage. We are a completely different team I think.
Sounds weird, but i think we wouldnt have looked as good with their schedule, and they wouldnt have looked as good with ours.

You're going to turn A&M fans into bottle throwing Texas fans.

October rollercoaster on deck for the Aggies. We’ve all seen this movie before.

A&M has played 2 top 20 teams and 3 conference games away from home. It's far from terrible. But I am enjoying a little bit easier than normal schedule.

Oh wow, I just saw Lsu's schedule.
You've only played 1 ranked team and lost to an unranked opponent.
Something about throwing stones and living in a glass house.

Saturday will tell us what this team is. I think the 2nd half at Miss St MAY have answered that when Elko laid into them at half and they held MsSt to 98 yards in the 2nd.
I was glad to see he said many players were still umderestimating MSU. That wont be the case Saturday- you'll see a team with a chip on its shoulder- 14th in rankings despite leading the SEC,
and a QB that once again is being questioned by the fanbase.

that's a tough schedule, but whatever chief

well ya lost one of those top 20 games at home and mizzou won't be ranked in 2-3 weeks. Lucky ND plays a weak schedule too. Big wins over stanford, Purdue, and georgia tech for them.

This is some serious mental gymnastics.

TO answer your original question, UT(Austin) had the weaker schedule for the first half of the season. Arky may be unranked, but they don't suck. Mizzou has been pretty decent as well this year. It's not the fault of UT(Austin) that Michigan ain't the team it was supposed to be this year, but that's how it goes sometimes. So... A&M has played the better schedule.
Continuing: To date, LSU's biggest win was against Ole Miss, who had lost (at home) to Kentucky. Heaven only knows what the Reb's were daydreaming about for that to happen. But, upon reflection and comparison, LSU and A&M seem to be pretty well matched. A&M is the current favorite at -3 (a field goal). Considering that Kyle Field should account for a touchdown advantage at the very least, I'd say this game is a toss up. I wouldn't call it either way at this point.
(Short version: I typed a lot of words and provided nothing regarding a favorite for LSU @ A&M. It simply can't be done at this point.)

Not really. Pretty straight forward simple logic.
did aggie lose to ND:
-yes
does aggie have any impressive wins:
-no
does mizzou have any impressive wins:
-no
does ND have any impressive wins or play a difficult schedule:
-no
does aggie suck
-probably

And other fine LSU fans on this site ...
I don't feel like you folks are taking full advantage here.
Tennessee fans too for that matter.
You guys can do better.

It's almost like you never expected to be near the top.
