I feel bad for 87. Although this is true. I said from the day Deboer was named, that he is a good hire, but will the Bama fan base and boosters be patient enough to allow a new regime to take hold. It’s easy saying most are willing, but that can evaporate in a NY minute.

Decline is gradual, this is a collapse. But, to be expected, they just lost the best College football coach of my lifetime. With current conditions, it was bound to happen.

it was a good hire, not homerun. You can only say homerun after you have some results.

They're doing the grief stages in reverse. It's like they all collectively agreed to immediately adopt a reality where DaBore was the best hire since... Saban... and it took time for them to realize his resume is paper thin and he's never taken on a job even close to the one he just got paid handsomely to perform.
