Because the Texas administration will try to influence refs and Sankey to their benefit, which effects your team.

My point is, why warn posters on a fan site about something they have zero control or influence over.
It's a fan site. When everyone was rejoicing over ou and tu coming in, and we have actual kniwledge of what that means having them as a "partner", we should not post about it????

Meh. I’ve come to be fine them being here. I doubt they will be able to actually affect/corrupt things that much and it does bring more heft.
My only ask is they be recognized for what they are: a program with solid history and flashes of being really good, but lacking the hardware of many SEC stalwarts (or even Oklahoma, for that matter). Their arrogance would be justified if they had that hardware, but they just come across as a lot more hat than cattle.
Yes, I’m well aware that we have far less reason to claim anything like blue blood status, but I think most Aggies are well aware of that.

First logical explanation I’ve seen. Your posts on this site are usually like that. Can’t argue because Saturday was certainly embarrassing.

I thought they were warning us about how good they’d be and how bad their fans were. I didn’t know about the cheating aspect.
Seems like only 2 of those are true. Texas isn’t going to be some dominant force in the SEC.
But the fans don’t fit in on the message board, apparently the gameday experience is very un-SEC from everything I hear… it’s just a bad fit.
I wish they could go back. They do not belong and we don’t want them here. And none of that has to do with the fact that their football team is going to “take over” because clearly they aren’t. Just a bunch of hype for nothing. They’ll be a run of the mill SEC team.

Snakey had an agenda, and it wouldn't matter what the evidence showed.

Revolt like hell when the move was announced? Rally support to reject an invitation?

Not that he would want to - he's permanently camped in trans land.

The Aggie voice was totally neutralized, as I'm sure you remember.

Thank you…I never knew tRant had that kind of power. I sure wish we would have listened to A&M fans. Dang.
Aggie has a massive inferiority complex to Texas and creates a lot of conspiracy theories around the Horns.
Not unlike many of my fellow LSU fans with Alabama.
It's pathetic.

They were just warning you about texas cheating ways. They pay the refs and are arrogant about it.
What evidence is there of this? Other than the Longhorn Network, which I agree is a legitimate gripe from their former conference members, all I see on here is a bunch of unsubstantiated rumors about what a cancer Texas is.

Conspiracy theories. History shows that this is no conspiracy theory. As I said in the game thread at halftime, just wait. The refs will get involved and make this a game
Snakey could not afford for his "golden child" to be blown out like was happening. Snakey and UTrans are the perfect fit for one another.

You’re mistaking utter disdain for an inferiority complex.
I assure you, without an ounce of hesitation, we don’t feel inferior to the sips. We couldn’t be more different than their student body, their culture, and their overall mentality.
And we absolutely like it that way.

It was the correct call though, there was no DPI

Who cares.
That was a big time game environment and it’s nice having somebody new to hate….probably for both teams.
TX…let me tell you how this goes. After a few seasons “SEC pride” goes out the window and you’ll want to see your hated opponents lose …. regardless of who they’re playing. UGA is proud to be the first team to be on your list….maybe second behind the Aggies.
You’ll get screwed by the refs and there’s holding and PI on every play that doesn’t get called. Refs will frick you when you really need to convert or score.
Few things unify the SEC fan base. Vandy beating Bama was one….and I believe our win Sat was another.
Welcome to the SEC…GG.
