No. No. No. It is amazing how fans just jump off a cliff after a team loses some games. Patience is the key right now. We just lost to LSU and Bama, teams that are better than us. SC was generally looked at as a toss up game. But turnovers can kill any chance to win games in the conference. We play Western Michigan Saturday so we will be 3-3 with an open date. That gives our NEW COACHING STAFF three weeks to be better gel with our players. I said before the season that we were a 6-6 team. That is still possible. Obviously we are disappointed but perseverance is needed right now.
It’s this cuck mentality from a large portion of our fan base that has led to this situation.

quote:I disagree. The offense would be better if Wright would actually play more. Arnett and Barbay are being loyal to Will and that’s dumb. All in all, State is actually where a lot thought they would be. The Arkansas game in 3 weeks will tell us everything that we need to know.
Never understood why you’d hire a guy from App State to be your OC with a team that only knows the Air Raid

“You guys should really go back and get Dan. NIL will recruit for him now. Florida never should have fired him.”
No.
That ship has sailed. Mullen left State a year early. The 2018 team could have challenged for the SEC Championship if he would have been the coach. That said, I appreciate what he did at State.
Florida did pull the plug too early on him. But I predicted that when left State that Florida fans being the spoiled brats they are would run him out of town after three-four years.
Of course the thrown shoe and what happened after that basically did him in.
The problem for Florida is his replacement was actually a down grade from Mullen.

I would 100% take Mullen back. Everyone at MSU acts like he slighted us but he publicly stated that UF was his dream job at the time. Can’t fault the guy for chasing career aspirations.

Sucks the hand y'all were dealt.. Because y'all seriously could've won the West this season with the pirate

if Leach was going to fire him
I would highly doubt it. Arnett was a fantastic DC.
There were lots of rumors that Auburn was in talks to hire him as DC and was close to being done and then Leach passed away and that, of course, changed the entire situation.

Totally has neutered Rodgers. First and most major mistake was not hiring someone running Pirate’s offense or at least a form of it.
This.
The MSU QB isn't "great", but he is better than he has appeared these past few games.

This is a terrible take. I would not take Mullen back. Second times are very rarely successful. That Florida was his dream is all well and good. He closed our chapter of his life and went the next chapter and now he is on his next chapter.
And then if he were to come back, there would be immediate speculation on what job he was going to take next.
As I mentioned, patience is the key. Most of you forget that Mullen had some WTF moments in 2009 that cost us a couple of games. Arnett is learning the hard knocks of being the HC. We need to give him some time grow into the role. This microwave mentality of fans today sure makes football much less enjoyable than used to be.
Nobody likes lose but at the same time, the guy should not be so harshly judged after 6 games into his first season.

Watching him on the sidelines, he doesn't seem very likable.

You're running an offense that your QB has never tried in almost a decade of football. Dude couldn't recall one time before this year ever having his back turned to the defense as a QB.

He. is. Not. Engaged. During. The. Game…Period.
Compare his game actions with those of Sabans who is grabbing players coming off the field discussing actions while arnett shakes his head, but just a little, maybe for the TV camera.

Dude is a complete dud.
I don’t blame us at all for giving him a shot given the circumstances, but the program can’t die with Leach. ZA has shown a tremendous lack of understanding across the board.

Garret Riley would be a good hire.
He probably won’t stay, but I imagine you can get 3-5 good years out of him.

Arnett's offense scored more TDs against Bama last night than Leach's scored in three games combined. What's the problem?

Dude was a bad fit for Florida. Stricklin should have been fired for hiring him in the first place.

I know how you feel. They should have stuck the interim tag on him for a year and let year 1 be his resume.
