Both teams played hard. Sometimes you just lose. Credit to Alabama. They earned the win.
There are not five teams in the country better than us. Period end of story. In fact there is no team better than us. Maybe equal in Alabama’s case.

We will do what our conference needs us to do which is go to Miami and bitch slap FSU’s arse, recruit like a champion, and get ready for another run.

We’ll be 13-1 and will look back and have fine memories of the 2023 Dawgs.

Do your job Alabama and bring home the Natty.

georgia looked very different saturday because the OC depends on better players to make plays. when UGA faced a team with similar talent they couldn't creatively outscheme them and it was apparent. it reminded me of les miles offense.

The difference between Georgia and Alabama - both can beat anyone in the country. Bama, we could easily lose to anyone on the country.

No, you do what your program needs you to do. Other programs have given up at bowl time [even Bama did twice]. It's hard when you are playing for the practice, recruiting, and pride after a tough loss.

And the bowl income for team/conference doesn't hurt.

Good for Georgia.

The CFP thinks a hobbled Florida state is better than you

At least that’s how they said their logic applied to the top 4

Les Miles team’s lose those types of games 21-0 and don’t cross the 50 yard line.

Georgia is one of the best 4 teams imo. If they think they're tired of us now, they're really going to be tired of us when the CFP goes to 12

Top 4 SHOULD be

Texas
Bama
Georgia
FSU

But that’s too regional.

Washington is a nice story but they’ve never seen anything like the defenses those 4 roll out. I expect that to show vs Texas.

Michigan has no business being in much less #1 with that schedule. I’ve seen “dominant Michigan team” in a playoff setting before. It just hasn’t worked.

Just stop. Georgia lost because of a couple of miscues and a blown call on a 4th down play. If qb hadn't fumbled on the reverse that would've been a huge gain. False start and negative plays resulted in a missed fg. We lost and could have easily won. No excuses, on to the next game.

That's too bad. Our guys had a chance to prove it and shite themselves. They don't deserve to be in the playoffs.

While I do agree that UGA lost by a slim margin, and had some self inflicted penalties... Bama did the same. How many INTs did the Bama defense drop?

It was a great game, and neither team played their best ball of the season. But you could definitely tell that it was a clash of titans. Cheers to UGA

This is why the metric should be the four most deserving, not the four best. This is completely subjective. I have no idea what would happen if UGA played Texas, Washington or Michigan today. I would like to think we would win, but we struggled with Auburn and Mizzou could have beaten us. Any one of those teams could beat us.

It came down to coaching, in my opinion. Kirby made two key mistakes - his clock management at the end of the first half and the failure to challenge the reception, also at the end of the first half. Saban did not make similar mistakes. Bama might have won anyway, but who knows.

This is so overblown. We lost to a playoff team early on. UGA struggled with Auburn all the same. Struggled with GT.

If you really think Bama could easily lose to anyone in the country then you're not very familiar with CFB. At all.
