Go read Tidefans and the Tide247 forums. You would think Bama lost by 30.

I might honestly just borrow this, change the appropriate proper nouns and post it on the Tiger Rant because that's exactly how I felt watching people post on the Score Board last night.

Both of our games yesterday were awesome. I don't understand how anybody could just not enjoy it.

You'd think after 1/9 that LSU fans would have some perspective about what a bad loss or an unenjoyable game really is, but no. I'm not sure what qualifies as the analogue for Bama fans but I'm sure there's a similar one.

Be successful and strive for success, want success, but dammit, enjoy the ride while it's here!

- Alabama threads started by Bama fans belong on Bama forum, especially when you directly address Bama fans.

- Are you complaining about Bama fans complaining?

- Every Bama fan I know and have talked to is very happy with the win. Don't take what a few kids on the internet post over and over so seriously.

Great post! I think Saben is the best coach in the business. But like you said, you can't always win every game and every title, much less play any game perfectly.

Enjoy the camaraderie and pageantry that is college football, and enjoy winning when it happens.

With a few notable exceptions, most fans gain some perspective with age. I don't know the average age on these boards, but i do know if someone says they are 40, they start getting called Grandpa fairly quick. Many of these young people have not been through tough times with their teams and even a good percentage of them will change teams(The front runners) if things go bad.

The joy of these boards for me is info and intelligent conversation. Unfortunately, like digging for gold, you have to do some work to find it.

I've always maintained that if you can't enjoy 9-10 win seasons, you really shouldn't be watching this sport because obviously you have a whole other meaning of life invested in the game
you are just scratching the surface of the lsu rantard mind

there are a few rational lsu fans with this exact perspective regarding lsu right now. BUT MILES DIDN'T HAVE ANYONE BACK TO RETURN THE PUNT. ONOZ

Aren't you the same guy who on a kayaking trip in 2010 suggested firing the entire coaching staff to keep things fresh, and get better at recruiting?

While I agree with your post, this is an internet message board, and the anonymity provided by the computer screen allows for the more extreme opinions to receive undue attention. Sims played well enough, and should get better throughout the year. The more worrisome takeaway was the defense seemed to be lost when WVU shifted in to a formation they hadn't seen before. Add in the fact that Trickett was throwing dimes the whole game, and we were in for a tight game.

I'm just glad we're not in a place where we require Simeon Castille to knock away a pass in the endzone to hold on to a five point victory for homecoming any more.
