When I watched the game yesterday I noticed (and have before) that our fans in the stands don't just look disappointed when another team scores or does something positive, but look disgusted that Alabama would allow it to happen

I'm guilty of this... but I also want us to us to win in every other sport sideways 8 to 0. It wasn't possible to shut a team out in my sport, but I wanted us to get first-fourth in every event versus every team despite how unrealistic that was.

Success breeds arrogance and unrealistic expectations. Honestly, your program with its glorious history and a recent run of success has fueled unreasonable expectations.

Fans view every opponent as an inferior entity that should not only be soundly beaten, but your team shouldn't give up any yards, first downs or points in the process.

Saban is a great coach, but his and the programs success has made some people think that the team is invincible and should beat everyone and never play a close game. There is no thought given to the fact that this is the college game and despite how good recruiting is these are young men requiring a period of adjustment and acclimation.

You just reach a point that you have to reconcile that this "element" of the fan base will always be present to some degree. LSU fans have grown to accustomed to dealing with our group of "negatigers", but most fans are focused on the positive aspects of the program that far outweigh the negative.

I may be disappointed in our performance sometimes, but after Mike Dubose and then "One for the thumb", I don't have to be reminded to enjoy the wins.

As Gene Stallings once said, "I'd rather be winning ugly than losing ugly." I wouldn't trade places with Wisconsin or Oklahoma State today, despite the fact that they were impressive in many ways.

absolutely not..sims did not look fine by bama stds...1 of 4 on 15+ yds...bad passes that stopped drives unforced errors...in a shootout no room for error...he is only 6 ft 0 and the reason for so many rollouts and so many runs with nobody is open ...people are open b/c true passing qbs throw them open

West Virginia is suddenly a great team according to Bama fans.

I personally thought the game was boring. The playcalling was predictable and the players looked bored.

I see this Bama team with 2 losses

This sport doesn't seem to be much fun to you; why do you watch it?

It's pretty mystifying since a lot of the people doing the Coker leg-humping haven't even seen him play. What did people want Sims to do exactly? I liked how he used his mobility to buy time to make throws, and showed a good commitment to playing in the pocket. I'd like to see him make some deep throws, but for frick's sake, if Coker were the answer he would have started.

I enjoyed the Bama game, I thought there were big plays on offense, defense, and special teams for both sides; hell, there was even some unexpected tension when I thought Bama could lose

disagree - most run oriented qbs have no confidence in their passing game and look for any reason not to throw it ..true passers anticipate windows and throw guys open...sims is a zero as a passer by bama stds...1 of 4 in 15+yds...aj would step here step there and boom throw it downfield

Really love the rose-colored glasses people have about AJ now. You'd think he was Peyton Manning to hear some people retrospectively describe his passing prowess. Never mind that he had his share of dud games too, and was pretty mediocre starting out (I still appreciate what AJ was able to do).

Why are Bama fans coming out the woodwork to tell everyone how spoiled and awful other Bama fans are?
