Since the start of 2021, Auburn has an overall record of 29-36.

That is tied with Vanderbilt for the worst overall record amongst the 16 SEC schools. And Vanderbilt has beaten us the last 2 seasons.

Guess who we play this coming saturday? Vanderbilt

We have probably had the worst showing at the QB of every school since then too.

Common denominator: the worst OL in the country. No matter the coach, it apparently won't get fixed.

It’s so bad and has been for so long that at this point one would have to think that it’s purposeful.

Our offensive line suxs! It’s suxed so long that we can’t remember when it didn’t. Our starting left tackle is from James Madison and is slow and was beat all game. Our starting center is from USF and severely undersized. I’ve seen many of these guys on campus and they are just not that big. The athletic dept lies about their size. Looking at LSU, Ole Miss, Miss State, Bama, and even Vanderbilt there lines look bigger, stronger, and faster. It’s never going to get fixed at Auburn until this is addressed! And F@@k Gus for starting this with his smaller speedier line bull crap! We’ve never recovered.

I'd like to see us return to a mentality of winning at the line of scrimmage rather than the complicated finesse BS we've consistently run on both sides of the ball for over a decade. We have a very chaotic approach to our own identity and it shows.

We haven't had a thousand yard receiver since the 90s. Haven't had a competent offensive line since the late 2010s.

Kinda over it, doesn't seem to matter who the coach or the players are. Same shite product on the field.

UF and Sumrall looked like our Hard Nose Tigers from the 90’s.

Meathead beat us bad.

Because his scheme was so simple, other team began to negatively recruit against us, saying that we don’t prepare O Linemen for the pros. That was early in Gus’ tenure. We can’t shake that stigma, apparently, even with NIL money.

Until we do, we will never get back to where we were.

I think Auburn operates with a lot of fear.

It goes back to Tony Franklin. We’ve been admitting defeat to the Alabamas and Georgias of college football for almost two decades. Constantly looking for a unique approach that catches them by surprise.

Franklin. Malzahn. A Pacific Northwest douche. A disgraced retread.

I’m hoping Golesh can be different like everyone else, but retaining Durkin felt again like fear. “Our defense is a bright spot on this putrid shite of a football team. We better keep him!”

Gashed. 44 points at home. Bulldozed over by another program in about the same state we’ve been in.

OLines will suffer the most under all the new pay for play and transfer rules because they won't stay at one school and develop together. It's one position you can't just buy the best ones every year and it work.

But you can buy size and hope for the best.

I literally don’t know the answer to this.

Are Alabama’s, LSU’s, and Florida’s o linemen not NIL transfer purchases?

Because they seem way, way better off on the offensive line than us. We’re having to deal with ANOTHER year of “whelp, we just don’t have the linemen. Nothing we can do to fix that.”

i watched a good bit of the Bama-FSU game

Bama’s OL is about as bad as ours, they just seem to be able to make plays despite that
