I will never spend my thanksgiving in college station. This game's new time is a horrible idea.

Horrible attitude! Reasonably-easy driving distance from Baton Rouge. Get to watch every college football game you want Saturday. What's not to like?

Well for one I spend Thanksgiving with my family. Novel concept I know. And they live in Memphis, not baton rouge. That's not a reasonable driving distance.

That's great but this thread isn't about why a&m fans attend home games on thanksgiving. He was asking why LSU fans don't have an interest in attending an away game on thanksgiving.

Ah, I didn't see his question

I really don't care if lsu fans travel for the game. If y'all do, Thanksgiving meals are on us. If not, more room for Aggies. Win/win.

I guess it was more of a statement than a question actually.

1. LSU fans/Louisiana people love cooking food, being with family and eating 2nds, 3rds and 4ths well into the night on Thanksgiving

2. aTm is pretty long ride away

3. LSU beat the Aggies with Johnny Football over there and at LSU- what is there to prove?

4. aTM hasn't beaten LSU recently, so there is no big motivation there

Those are student tickets. The fil allotment of "LSU fans" tickets sold out.

Students and fans are two different things

Student sales, and it doesn't help that the game is on Thanksgiving day
And it won't even be the most watched Thanksgiving game in the state. (No offense to either school.) I love Thursday and Friday college football, but it doesn't seem to work that well on Thanksgiving weekend.

Maybe we don't want your shite upper deck seats in the cat piss side of the stadium.

I've already bought mine in a section where I can see the field

Waaaaaaaay too expensive for student tickets if the $120 price is accurate...hell, I think it's too much - period. This ain't the SEC Championship.

not to mention A&M wants to charge us $100 for a ticket....

I agree, its fricking ridiculous. I guess they need the money to pay for that 32 million dollar renovation for the new locker room. frick that noise. Their own fans can pay that bill. I live in CS and I would rather sit at home and watch the game with other tiger fans that I have met here.

I actually am going but currently don't have a ticket. If your stadium wasn't built like a fricking tackle box, I wouldn't hesitate to buy a ticket if it's in the uppers. I can't even imagine how high up your nosebleeds are.

How many LSU fans made the trip to the Washington game in 2009? I think it was 20k? Just terrible troll attempt
