re: What is your most embarrassing sports moment?
Posted by Big Moe on 4/7/16 at 1:29 pm
As a sophomore in high school i stepped up to tee-off for my first tournament on the golf team.
I had never golfed in a competitive environment before and did not realize how nervous I was until I stepped up to the first tee. To make matters worse I was the second group of the day so pretty much everybody was watching.
My opening tee shot pops straight up in the air and 20 yards to the right into someone's backyard. The next one goes about 150 yards further and into someone's living room.
I picked up and took the max for the hole

Antonio Blakeney doesn't go off in the postseason and may return next season
Blakeney, Quarterman, Patterson, Victor and Epps returning is a solid core

I dont think Brock Osweiler will be an elite QB, but he's just what that team needs. Especially with Hopkins and Miller to work with.
And I like Obrien's chances with him. In the past three years, Christian Hackenburg, Ryan Fitzpatrick and Brian Hoyer played the best football of their career under him. None of those three has Osweiler's talent

A "healthier" burrito/salad shop opened up next door to a chipotle by where I work. Food is incredible compared to chipotle, and better variety, but is still getting owned customer wise by Chipotle. Blows my mind how much people love that place

They will probably beat Kentucky by 20 and lose in the first round in Nashvile
re: Which team executive will lose their job due to drafting Bosa?

I don't think Bosa is the real deal, but nobody is losing their job for picking the guy considered the top prospect in the draft

Really looking forward to Villanova - Marquette. Two of the best and most underrated freshmen in the country in Jalen Brunson and Henry Ellenson

Houston won Game 6 to win that series. One of my favorite sports moments.
You're right. For some reason I thought it was in 2004 that happened

John Stockton's buzzer beater to down the Rockets in the Conference Finals was tough to take as an 8-year old kid.
1/9/12 sucked because it was the most I've dropped on a ticket for a sporting event

Not sure why but there was just something enjoyable about watching that train wreck

Shaun Kings legit title at the NYD is Senior Justice Editor. That should tell you all you need to know
re: Dont forget: Von Miller is a cheater

Von Miller isn't a cheater, just loves his MDMA and thc. I've got no beef with that
Player you wish your favorite NBA team could move at the deadline

As a lifelong Rockets fan, I want to see Terrence Jones go for whatever they can get for him. He's so inconsistent, yet someone will probably throw semi big money at him this offseason
As a casual Bucks fan, I want to see MCW traded. It just seems like he will never figure out his jumpshot

As a Bucks fan, you don't want MCW. He's been trying to improve his shot for years and just can't.
Monroe would be a big grab for the Pels. Same with Middleton, if you can get him for the right price

Blakeney and Newman will be very interesting. Without Simmons presence, Blakney may need elevate his game even further, and you can bet that Newman is going to come ready to play.
Assuming both stay, I'd put my money on one of those two winning SEC POTY

The guy he was trash talking at was Malik Newman. Wonder if he was reminding him what a mistake it was to choose Moo State over LSU

As a Bucks fan, I am happy about this. I think they could get some solid talent for this pair
