They won't beat FSU so it will be over before that. We should get rid of divisions and have the 2 best teams play.

And who would you say is the second best team if it's not Florida?

I don't expect us to win but as others have said. We are playing with house money. Some lucky breaks and BOOM!! We stun the football world.

As a fan of a team that pretty much always plays with house money, I can attest to the sense of peace one has going into games. It's pretty cool. Not as cool as winning titles, but better than being doomed to severe disappointment every game. Arkansas' fanbase has a sizable population of people like this and it's painful to watch their melts when they should just be enjoying Arkansas' steady climb to relevance.

What? You'll lose so bad the Gators drop the program. Nothing ends in 3 weeks.

L5U folks were excited about Steele having Saban's playbook this year.

Just saying.

Coach Mac has Saban's offensive playbook. Everyone know Lane was just hired to recruit California and piss off UT. (Not necessarily in that order.) Y'all are in trouble if you make the SECCG. Doomed.

Pretty much gonna be a physical, reasonably close game.

Unlike UGA, TAMU and LSU, ole Jim will figure out a way to reap some positives from the beat down. No hangover for UF. We'll repeat the SECCG in 2016 and he'll bring a lot more to the table.

I suppose Arky's multiple SEC losses and destruction by TOLEDO puts them in that discussion?

Ok...I have read enough...anyway we can just forfeit the SECCG? Hell...we dont stand a chance against the mighty Bama Crimson Tide. Why bother?

But....just in case we can sneak a gun into this knife fight and blow up something....might as well show up. Who the frick does Bama think they are? 1963 Green Bay Packers? 1984 Chicago Bears? Dont think so. I might just sneak into their locker room and piss all over their lockers and street clothes at the SECCG

BTW....the Florida State College for Women is going to have serious anus problems after our game in the Swamp...they aint shite and fixing to play a real team with a real defense that hates their arse. Ketchup and mustard is awful color scheme. Did I mention I hate their arse? Good school if you wanna go to their Clown College (Im serious) and learn the intricate nature of wearing oversized shoes, water squirting flower lapels, gigantic noses, baggy pants and Clara Belle toot horn. Guys who like wearing corsets, stockings, garter belts and fake boobs are given extra credits.

Might not be 4 or 5 Tds scored combined. It will be ugly game. Coach Mac came to Bryant Denny with a vastly undermanned Colorado St. team and made a game of it. That Bama team was much better on offense than this one.

The fact that no team has repeated as B2B SEC champs in almost 2 decades is also a not a confidence booster.

When UF clinched the East I knew for sure LSU would not win the west just because no permanent cross divisional opponents have ever faced off in the SECCG.

Even if it did happen I believe most Florida fans will still feel pretty good over the direction the program is going in now.

I imagine recruiting is looking good to great?

It isn't like we haven't played Bama recently. Maye and Morrison will undoubtedly be picked on like they were the last time. Which is a big concern. Our defense is great, but it's inconsistent, too. That being said, our corners should be able to have a little fun at Coker's expense. We'll see.

Regardless, I'll be happy if we can keep it a close game into the third quarter. This year has basically been like a signing bonus... the real payoff comes later.

Saban doesn't lose revenge games, Rebs might get shut out-- just saying.

I think we have a chance-- Treon as bad as he's been has this weird ability to step up when its needed most- (look how the playbook stayed the same but somehow he closed the Vandy game hitting like 9 of 10 on the last drive after going 3 for 15, or how he finished UGA after the 3 for 12 start), with Grier I actually think we'd be a top 4 team right now (we'd still have lost to LSU-- he wasn't great the week before on the road and would have been hit a ton) .

I also think that the FSU game might see the debut of new parts of the playbook that Mac has held back smartly because of our depth issues-- even say losing to Vandy was better than losing Treon, starting with FSU we enter the "keep winning and you keep playing for stuff" stage of the schedule where an injury to Treon isn't doesn't significantly alter anything worse than an outright loss would-- more read option plays for instance.
