How will UF recover from the unavoidable beatdown of losing by 5 TDs to the Crimson Tide?

The Gators better savor these next two games. The end is near.

They won't beat FSU so it will be over before that. We should get rid of divisions and have the 2 best teams play.

Ehh the defense will have a chip on their shoulder after hearing how great bama is the next few weeks and it will be the best d they've faced so far

There's a decent chance this could be a close game is all I'm saying

You know what UF reminds me of? Bama 2008. New (relatively in Bama's case) coach cobbling together the pieces left by the previous coach and managing to overachieve while still showing significant weaknesses that they manage to compensate for through gutsy play. I like this UF team.

Good comparison Biggest difference is that Bama team had a MUCH better OL.

This UF team reminds me of 2006, when UF underwhelmed against everybody then blew out Ohio State.

This is true, re the OL.

2006 UF might actually be a better comparison. Though they had some incredible talent on the defense. It was just the Leak-led O (even with Harvin...Harvin was a frosh that year, right?) that underwhelmed.

Are we even sure they're beating Jimbo?

You know how the refs "missed" the block in the back (that was right in front of a ref) that led to Bama returning a kick for a TD yesterday? Expect lots of that.

Yep, Harvin and Tebow were both freshman and major contributors that year.

UF's offense without those two would've been a trainwreck.

Have no problem if we lose to Bama at this point. This season is total gravy...I mean I am still bathing in gravy at this point. We beat FSU and I am taking the gravy UT frat style.

Seriously...can't stop smiling.

Right now UF would be about 13 point dogs to Bama.
Being positive, I think we stand a good chance of keeping it within 4-5 TDs.

By game time there will be no line. The number will be too high.

Over under will be 222 or so. With UF only expected to get a mercy fg. Hell they may not even show up

Bama won't dominate us. Our defense is too good. Likely beat us sure..but not a blow out. Add in coach mac and Doug know Saban and his defense that hasn't changed since they left. So may find ways to exploit it a bit and keep the game respectable

I actually think we have a chance if things go right. Bama will be favored and are playing great ball.

I don't expect us to win but as others have said. We are playing with house money. Some lucky breaks and BOOM!! We stun the football world.

Kind of butthurt here, no?

In any event, people need to brush up on their history. Bama and UF had some epic battles late last decade (and in the '90s). Florida doesn't need unhappy fans chewing on sour grapes coming in and trying to tell them what it's like to play Bama. They know what it's like, and neither team needed refs to win. It was talent against talent, coaching against coaching, and enormous fun to watch.
