4. TJ Yeldon - He did what he does so consistently, had a solid game. 127 yards from scrimmage at a rate of 5.3 yards per touch.
5. Derrick Henry - A perfect compliment to Yeldon in the backfield, Henry went for 113 total yards from scrimmage at a 6.6 yards per play rate.
This will probably be flipped by mid season

But that passing attack! Man! Hill can run and throw the ball with accuracy.
He's gonna be special.

Touchdowns are overrated. Yards per carry all day.
I like RB efficiency measurements.
Essentially, successful runs are as follows: 40% yards towards a 1st down on 1st down, 60% yards towards a 1st down on 2nd down, and a successful conversion on 3rd and 4th downs. Obviously, touchdowns (and 1st downs) qualify as a success no matter the down.

None of our RBs deserve to make the list, but at least a mention of our run game...
This isn't a list of the best running GAMES.
Its a list of the best running BACKS.

Looking forward to a full game of Braylon Heard.

I agree. His stats are stupid, but he couldn't make the list for just two carries and against an FCS opponent.

No Alex Collins? List is shite.
Gotta pick up the slack for our fallen comrades.

He would have made it if the list was done at half time.

Yeah I wouldn't have put him on it either. Gotta put a complete game together.
It looks about how I would have done it as well.

No way, I'll take the group plan. Screw individual stats, much harder to gameplan against 3 very talented backs that run 3 different ways and are very good. Also great insurance for injuries.

Shameless (ok maybe I'm feeling a small amount of shame) bump for the work crowd.

Why take credit away from Hilliard ?

Definitely not as suspect as others in LSU's backfield.

So basically your rankings are just who had the most yards from scrimmage?
Great read. Please continue to post.
