The backup from PSU? The guy has 55 pass attempts and Mizzou gave him $1.5 million?

This is a crazy world we're living in for sure.

Cook was a 3 year starter at an SEC school. lower ranked kids are great players all the time.

Will Howard was a 3* kid who just led OSU to a national title. Joe Burrow as a fringe 4* who was incredible at LSU.

I just don't think you can bank on a transfer who has thrown less than 100 passes in 2 seasons to be a productive player this season

Missouri had one of the easiest SEC schedules imaginable and still couldn’t do shite with it. They’re not to be feared, at all.

Yea teams with a starting quarterback returning are in a good spot for next year. Missouri is not one of those.

Another team to watch is Arkansas with Green at QB and Armstrong at receiver returning. I was impressed by them in that Missouri/Arkansas snow game. As lousy as the weather was they were moving the ball well passing.

So this year is no different? How would you know? Just look at what happened to LSU last year. ended up unranked at the end. That is not the norm at LSU. Once again LSU has not been so great recently. How much longer will LSU and LSU fans put up with BK failure to get LSU to the playoff? If this season ends up going 9-3 or worse what will that say about BK? More recently he did more with less. That got to hurt. Good Luck to this coming season.

You are talking about the OSU roster that is one of the top in the rankings. Mizzou's roster is far down in the rankings. That is why having more 5* and 4* players starting for your team helps the quarterback big time. Cook couldn't throw downfield like a 4* or 5* quarterback that can throw with ease. This season shall be a lot better with a much better quarterback and roster additions.

You keep saying much better quarterback with literally no data to support that

Cook didn't get recruited by any of the power of 5 right out of HS. This PSU transfer is a 4* transfer. Right there is all you need to know. This year's team will have better roster and depth. Drinkwitz made sure the team was loaded all around. 17 from the transfer portal was surprising. He knew what he had to do to compete against top teams. Not 100% there yet but he has improved the roster each year so far. This year he will have the best roster ever since he has been the HC.

It do not matter! Drinkwitz is holding team back, he can not beat teams with lesser talents with his higher talents. That is on coaching!

No it isn't. A guy who was recruited highly does not mean he is a better player.

JJ Watt was a pizza boy who decided to walk on to Wisconsin. He's better than literally 99% (maybe100%?) of the DL who have come out in the last 15 years. He had no offers from P4 schools.

You keep confusing highly recruited with better. I've given you multiple opportunites to rephrase and you just won't take it
