11-1 psu and fsu...because of competition levels or just that good?

Definitely already looking forward to it! May go to the spring game this year, it's been a minute since the last time I went.

Being you brought up noles and level of competition in the same sentence.

That great six game win streak to end the season for fsu consisted of five teams that ended season with losing record. The one that finished with a winning record did lose five of their last six.

Draw your own conclusion.

Hopeful, but I see LSU more at 10-12.

A&M is the enigma.

On paper we are the 4th most talent team behind Bama, Georgia and Ohio St.

Disclaimer: The majority of the guys in the portal were never going to start anyway.

Last year our scoring and pass defense were ranked pretty high. The offense (outside of Achane) was a complete disaster until the last game.

If A&M goes 10-2 it wouldn’t surprise anyone. If A&M goes 4-8 it also wouldn’t surprise anyone.

I’m glad we are starting the year unranked. Zero expectations is a great thing.

Michigan will disappoint, or simply go back to the mean, however, you want to define it.

There is nothing to really justify anything above the 15-20 area. But rest assured if they win they will move up quickly.

Competition.. I want to say FSU 12-0. But I think they slip somewhere. PSU competition. They lose to UM but beat OSU. The rest of the conference is a joke.

4th??!?! I would say you’re behind LSU I’m the conference. OOC, SC has a lot more talent on Offense.. maybe a push… overall.

UGA won’t drop from number 1 the whole season. You might get a 3 vs 4. My guess is UGA and Michigan stay 1 & 2 all year…. Their schedules are Charmin extra soft this year.
I think SC could jump to 2 in the final polls ; with wins against UTAh, Washington, and UCLA and at Oregon and ND. That will be alot better than UM wins against OSU and at PSU; you think UGAs schedule is bad look at Michigans.. good Lord.

Them keeping Verse one more year is huge. Also Travis to Bell will be a tough nut to crack for any defense.

USC ‘s OL wasn’t good last year, and I doubt it will be much better this year. It was their Achilles Heel as much as their defense, which will also continue to be a Riley defense. UGA better be fully prepared to face USCe in September. They are a better team than many are giving them credit for- even though they lost some key players.

Not knocking lsu, fsu, or usc just didn't think the season from last year justified this kinda ranking.

I think LSU could ascend to that level but I hate preseason projects like that when we have not been there in a while.
