If you take a player knowing they’re a one year player they pretty much have to be a genuine freak for it to be a worthwhile proposition. If you can bring in Zion Williamson, Anthony Davis or Brandon Miller then you do it. Those guys aren’t common though.

A premier 3 and D role player would also probably be worth it but your run of mill ball dominant blue chip guard just isn’t going to pay out big time in year one. There are too many guards in college that are simply better at 21/22 with a few more years under their belt.

At this point in time, I'd guess we'll be better next year than this year. And we made the s16 this year. Still have to see how the roster plays out though

Looks like it’ll be about the same imo. Tennessee and Bama were the only top ten teams for most the year. Kentucky, Arkansas, Auburn, Missouri, and A&M were all back half or fringe top 25 teams
