Cant help but think WTF was Gus thinking kicking the XP to only go up 27-21 instead of going for 2 to at least try and make it 28-21, and how that could have easily backfired on that last hail mary. All aboard the Gus bus for now, but man, really dumb decision.

He admitted it was a mistake in the presser.

What stood out to me while watching the game was how piss poor Auburn's running game was

Meh. AU’s defense was playing very well. Had Oregon had more production in the second half, I would agree more heavily.

There will still be 5 more threads added on top of the three already on it.

It got better as the game went on and we ended up with 200+

They got it going a little at the end of the game.
The biggest difference was Auburn getting a passing game going. Oregon had nothing but a quick screen game.

Generally 4.8 ypg is considered better than average, maybe not great. Certainly it isn't "piss poor". Stats help us to remove the bias of our emotions when forming opinions.

Must have just been a coincidence then that you guys got stuffed whenever I happened to be watching. I'm not being a smart arse either, those are good stats

Boobee started to find creases and bounce off would be tacklers from the third quarter on. Seemed like Oregon was starting to gas and our line started to get a bit more push too.

I was surprised as well. Some of that was Bo Nix scrambling. We had some fast linebackers take poor angles on him.

Then you didn't watch pretty much any of the 2nd half.

Oregon lost Adrian Jackson for the season at OLB due to injury midway through the week. DJ Johnson was suspended. Those were two guys that could’ve helped.

Thanks for telling us something we all know.

They were sitting on our run because of the passing game. The passing game opened up the run.

When Boobie got it going, I saw flashes of the patience KJ had - waiting an extra second or two to see if a crease opened up instead of just barreling into where the hole should be.

Yeah, I noticed how particular he was about it too, and when he found it, he was running downhill and hitting it hard. Hope he's taken that next step.

Rushed for over 200 yards and had a 100 yard rusher. They had less than 100.

Redd had 99 yards on screens. That was the pass option on run first plays.
