I noticed that too but you will soon find yourself without friends on the rant if you say anything kind about the Heisman trophy winner.

I noticed it as well. He also looked a bit heavier and out of shape.

I didnt notice any difference, but then again, he was playing against a gassed Rice defense.

I noticed that Saban noticed that they are on notice that Bama will run it up the gut until further notice.

As well as Miles. Look for 400 yards rushing...

Oh, and Manziel has plenty of athleticism, but it's his vision and awareness that makes him special.
that- vision. he knows where the gaps, that he can make, are GOING to be.
Sumlin has those OL coached well too. Notice after ___ sec without a pass they all try to turn their guy to the left, assuming Manziel will run [forward] to the right as soon as they do.
I'm guessing they are communicating well too. If left DE gets around, the right side immediately starts run blocking.

I was sure than Bama would skull frick A&M. Then I saw Bama's running game. Although rice ran for 300 so Bama should be able to put 400.

Too early to tell, could be the expectation of what you expected from him, or could be that maybe he is legitimately a step slower, you'll know for sure once the competition beefs up, which won't be until Bama.

But he's no burner. He never has been.
He's fast - for a QB, he's super fast.

Johnny isn't fast or quick. He's slippery..... like all snakes are.

He ran three times, not a good sample size. I didn't notice anything different, though.

You know what, you're nothing but a troll, but I noticed it too. He did look a little bit slower. It could be because of the many reasons already stated, but the sample size was too small to say for sure. Should know more after a full week.
