I don’t see any other reason for the drop after a blowout win.

Not a flex, just an honest answer, if you have lost to the only decent team you have played, you are going to be ranked lower even if you destroy weaker teams. OSU would be lower too if they had been down 24-7 at halftime.

LSU is ahead of 4 undefeated teams including Texas tech and MSU that have ranked wins. You’re ahead of Oregon which also has a ranked wins and a ranked loss.
If the playoffs were tomorrow LSU would be in. Such a weird thing to complain about.
