Was listening to a Gary Danielson interview from SEC Media Days and was impressed....

He talked about all of the online hate he gets and just said it's part of the job and he holds no bad feelings.
Talked great about the SEC and their fans. Said what makes us different is that the MSUs, Mizzous, South Carolinas etc. are just as passionate about football and wanting a good program as the Bamas, Georgias, etc. That's what the other conferences don't really have.
Said that he hasn't had any fans from any fanbase in the SEC treat him nasty in public and they've always been very kind.
Said he hopes that next year the fans will say they missed CBS because no one did it better. Said he wasn't saying that for he and Brad, but their whole production team and talked up the camera crew and how seamless they make it look when there is so much work going on before and during a game.
Told a funny story when talking about the pubic hating on him. Said his son was in second grade when he was starting for the Lions and told his mom "My friends say Dad sucks." And his mom said "Honey, you have to understand that they are talking about the quarterback for the Detroit Lions and not your dad." Said he thought about it for a few seconds and said "No, mom. They're talking about Dad."

I don't get the hate for Danielson. Sure, he slobbers over Bama a little, but he's the best analyst for college football

Gary Danielson was great way back in the day when he worked for ESPN or whatever. When he was at CBS covering the SEC, it was too over the top with the Saban love affair.

Sorry but while what he said is true Missouri will never be and can’t be Bama and most teams from other conference fire their coaches and a new one comes in trying to be the next Bama … so the sec isn’t above all for that reason. They are above all because the depth at the top and middle .

I get appreciating Saban, but he took it to a nauseating level. He would talk incessantly about Bama while calling games they weren’t even in!

Yeah, he didnt say Mizzou can be Bama. So no reason to be sorry.
What he said was true. Look at the size of the stadiums for the teams that aren't football powers and how many sell outs they have compared to other P5 conferences. It's not close.

Danielson’s love for Alabama is insufferable and anyone acting as if it doesn’t exist lives under a rock. Every game he talks about them, it could be Bishop Gorman vs South Harmon Inst of Tech and they’re imposed into the conversation.

Danielson is very good at his job.

Hey, Bama’s been King. It was Tebow before that he slobbered all over.
The thing that irks me with GD is his habit of calling penalties before the ref. He gets it wrong 40% of the time, every game. Other than that, his insights on how to be shitty QB are spot on.

Danielson is great. All y’all bitching about him: A) Couldn’t do any better and B) will start hating on whoever replaces him.

A Little ? He can’t keep sabans cock out of his mouth during a bama game. It’s almost unwatchable
